= 9 Poison Counters in ONE ATTACK.
All that for only 4x and with Wild Growth very possible at turn 3.
Use Undying Evil, Death Denied and Corpse Curs to bring your infectious creatures back to life, in case you find an opponent with lots of removals or counters. Nothing beats creating a Corpse Cur revival chain!
Virulent Wound and Grim Affliction are your removals, both serving double duty as another source of poison counters.
Sideboard
Diabolic Edict, Nature's Claim are added removals, dealing with specific threats that virulent wound can't handle.
Shrivel to clear the board. Useful against tokens, like those pesky Saprolings.
Nihil Spellbomb to slow down a grave digging opponent.
After receiving a thorough beating from a Burn deck, Ranger's Guile and Duress have been added or increased in the sideboard.
