For some reason I completely forgot about Bonescythe Sliver . I'll have to think about re-tailoring it to add him in. I may add one or two Megantic Sliver s. That could also be a target for Chord of Calling if I already have a Sliver Hivelord out. Thanks!

I think you need a full playlet of Predatory Sliver . in my opinion, these anthems on a stick are what make slivers truly scary

What one card would you take out to bring the playset up to 4?

probable either one of the not-stacking-ability ones like Blur Sliver or Syphon Sliver , since multiples of those are fairly redundant. Striking Sliver doesn't seem to powerful... he is ability even gets overwritten by Bonescythe Sliver . I think I'd take out one of those.

I would like to bring a few points up. You are missing some very good key slivers, and perhaps have numbers in the wrong places.
[Diffusion Sliver] Is good, but not an aggro sliver. I would mainboard 1, but sideboard the others. Side them in when playing against a control deck or a removal heavy midrange. Otherwise its almost completely useless. [Sentinel Sliver] Here is the kicker, specially with Chord. Sentinel is a 2 drop 2/2, with vigilance. That itself is strong. Even more so when you can attack, and then chord mid combat to bring in a [Venom sliver], Sliver [hivelord], [Syphon Sliver], [Bonescythe sliver]. Its a giant combat trick. Also, you can then use sliver hive to make slivers post combat, or at the end of their turn. You aren't at risk of crack back either. CVM and BBD have both said that [Sentinel Sliver] may be the best sliver atm.[Venom Sliver] Is good, and strong at the moment too. Monsters. Jund monsters, Naya Monsters, Gruul Monsters. Other creature decks are big atm. And generally they will be bigger than your creatures. That means venom sliver is at least a good one of, and then others in the side for when you run into [polukranos, world eater], [sylvan caryatid], and [courser of kruphix].I would also probably play 4 [Galerider sliver] and 2 [striking sliver]. Specially if you don't want to play Venom sliver.
This is my version of Slivers.

Also, I'm tired and I messed up on the formatting. Oh well.

CrazedXenomorph, I agree with you on some points, but not on others. What you say about Sentinel Sliver
makes sense. I had Venom Sliver
in here and then removed them, so I'll take another look at it.
Parts of the deck are also tailored towards my meta. I see a lot of Burn, Control, and mono black and blue devotion. All of which heavily target for the most part, which was why the original 3x Diffusion Sliver MB. I don't see too many Jund monsters or decks like it. There's maybe one guy that plays it consistently. And then I would side the Diffusion Sliver out after game one most likely.
I'll mess with the cards a bit and you can take another look.

Brood Sliver would be great instead of Sentinel Sliver

ok Savage Summoning really isn't great. there is like one counter spell deck in standard (esper and variations) , and even that deck isn't really counter-heavy. and even in those match-ups you are 2-for-1-ing yourself, just to watch them then simply remove your dude. I'd add one Reclamation Sage (awesome to tutor for with chord) and either i extra Abrupt Decay or Golgari Charm . those cards are the bane of esper/ UW/ UWR -Controls existence ;D

Banishing Light or Hero's Downfall for this deck? Thoughts?

banishing light yes since it deals with everything, the double black in downfall could betricky though. I'd play banishing light over downfall.

Thanks! I think what I'll do is put the 2 Banishing Light in the mainboard, but keep 2 Hero's Downfall in the SB for now. Otherwise Stormbreath Dragon could really wreck my day.

hm the problem no is that if you bring in Back to Nature you have to cut Banishing Light . Another thing worth noting might be Putrefy

UpsetYoMama says... #21
True, I hadn't even thought of that. Putrefy may be an option, I'll have to playtest it.

@Akroma005 Absolutely! I have an EDH deck where I abuse them all. This deck is designed for Standard, though, so I am somewhat limited in what I play.

me too. and the new Sliver Hivelord will be a great addition to my Sliver EDH
August 6, 2014 9:33 p.m.
Try instead of Banishing Light a Constricting Sliver or 2. With some Manaweft Sliver s it wouldn't be too hard to get out.
BliefCallerOfBeastzz says... #1
To me, your weakest sliver is venom sliver. Honestly, I would put white back in for 2 Bonescythe and add a megantic; when everything makes mana, a six drop becomes easy. Bonescythe will come down and make you almost guaranteed win in two turns.
