oatcutter 3 mana (tapped) ramp is not really what this deck wants to be doing. Dorks are better since they cost less mana and can also draw from edric.

MrDimir I tried running reap, it usually hits with at least 1. However, since our wincon depends on recurring extra turns a more consistent recursion is better. The times that it is unable to recur the warp make it less than ideal. With that said, it's a meta call if you always see black permanents then it can be better than other recursion.

What should slot out for the veils?

I would consider taking out the “feed the fish” Mystic Remora and Wingcrafter for the veils.

Noelqkazoo nooooooooooooooo Remora and even Wingcrafter are far too good to get booted.

oliveoilonyaasscureshemorrhoid I'd recommend removing Boreal Druid for Veil of Summer since it draws. Autumn I don't think is better than a counterspell.

Hey big fan of the deck list. Gunna make it in paper soon. Some questions, ever think about adding Waterfront Bouncer or Stampeding Wildebeests or Temur Sabertooth to go infinite with Eternal Witness and a Time Walk effect?

Also Equilibrium and Erratic Portal do something similar but aren’t creatures so less synergy. I like Waterfront Bouncer the most out of all the options because of its low mana cost so it can contribute to your early game plan of being aggro and drawing cards and can bounce opponents hate bears and also transitions later into your combo.

Nostalgic Dreams and Skullwinder seem like very decent options too. Dreams has little downside if you’re swinging with your creatures and Skullwinder is E-Witness number 2 that requires very little play around.

Oh! Also Roaring Primadox in addition to bouncing E-Witness, can bounce Snapcaster Mage because it doesn’t specify a creature color. Bouncing Snappy isn’t infinite but it still lets you double cast all of your Time Walk effects.

Is it worth changing the mana base for Mystic Sanctuary?

After a few playtesting, the deck doesn't seems to need the veils IMO. Really nice deck to play ! Good Deckbuilding :)

Have you tested Force of Negation at all? I think your missing out with it.

Even if it will often not be up on your turns, having a free counterspell for other opponents turns that you can still tap out for is still amazing. And with the amount of cards we draw, the pitch aspect of it is often not super important.

I assume that Fierce guardianship will get a slot once it's released. Then I was also curious if you had tried out Mox Amber or some of the single shot mana cards like Lotus Petal or Elvish Spirit Guide.

lunde174 Force of Negation doesn't protect our extra turn spells, where other similarly cheap spells like Dispel and Spell Pierce both help to police opponents, while also offering protection for warps. This deck is primarily a proactive deck so disruption is secondary to the main gameplan.

I'll be testing Fierce Guardianship and I think it's going to make the cut.

Rocks (like Mox Amber and Lotus Petal) should be kept to a minimum since we run Null Rod and Collector Ouphe. Also, mana dorks are prioritized since they draw off Edric if needed. Elvish Spirit Guide is excluded for this reason (though, could make a good budget replacement for Mana Crypt or Mox Diamond)
