It was in here for awhile but Carpet of Flowers has been working better as an accelerator

How about Oath of Nissa for mana fixing? Carpet of Flowers works because in EDH, you can usually find at least 1 person playing Blue, but the mana is only of one color. O. of Nissa eliminates all your color problems, something that Carpet can only do to a certain extent. Oath of Jace is also pretty good.

Thanks for the +1 but the previous commentor asked about oath as well. Yes the fixing is better but in my edh group the early acceleration is better regardless of being a single color. Not to mention there are 3 mono-U decks out of the 10 that regularly play.

This is rad. I had a similar idea, but don't have the tools I need to build it.

Love the deckname, by the way I think you might like Deepglow Skate. It's a new rare, blue creature card. Here is what it does:
It costs 4U.
"When Deepglow Skate enters the battlefield, double the number of each kind of counter on any number of target permenants."
It's a 3/3. With something like Deadeye Navigator it would be even better.

By the way you still have space in the deck to add something else just to let you know in case you weren't aware.

Since I see some pillow cards already, you might want to include Ichor Rats to start adding more counters while you're pillowed up ;)

Spot removal isn't that relevant in commander or my meta
October 26, 2016 8:18 p.m.
i mean just instantly removing a zur, kaalia, riku, kiki for w sorry that isnt relevant? Well in any case those were just my two suggestions.

The Energy Field + Wheel of Sun and Moon combo doesn't work quite as well as you think it might. Wheel of Sun and Moon puts the card on the bottom of your library, so it takes some time to get back. Tamiyo, the Moon Sage's emblem would do you a better job, but this is still multiplayer and that makes the sorcery speed irrelevant except for the first time you get attacked each go around, which isn't all that great. I also see that you don't actually have a commander, so drop a card and add Atraxa, Praetors' Voice as your commander.

Wheel of Sun and Moon isn't there for recycle in this regard. The Wheel provides a replacement effect for the graveyard making it impossible to break Energy Field without breaking Wheel first. Tamiyo's emblem is useful but the cards still enter the graveyard and that combo is pillow oriented.

You'd have to go more in-depth for me to understand, but LOL, I just said to add Atraxa, Praetors' Voice because she met your color requirements. Didn't even think about the proliferate possibilities.

Energy Field states: Prevent all damage from sources I do not control; When a card is put into MY graveyard sacrifice Energy Field. If I enchant myself with Wheel of Sun and Moon it provides a replacement effect wherein if a card I own would be put into a graveyard from anywhere Instead it gets placed on the bottom of my library. Therefore I will never have a card enter the graveyard and will never take damage from sources I don't control. As for Atraxa, Praetors' Voice I have been geeking since she was spoiled. This was originally 5 color but I like this version much better.

Yeah, I read the update right before I read that last comment, and I finally got it with the Rest in Peace description instead of the Wheel of Sun and Moon. Nice deck now that I really understand the combos. Have fun with your deck. +1

So with Energy Field out, your opponents can still deal combat damage to your planeswalkers, correct?
JerichoDarkstar says... #1
Hey, what about Oath of Nissa?
Dirt cheap, can snag you a Planeswalker or a Land that you may need, and then essentially removes the color from your Planeswalker's mana cost. I thought it might come in handy if your mana is a bit off during a game.
