eldrazi displacer is a nice card but synergizes not enough in this deck. it CAN do nice thing with gideon butw it does NOT synergize with blight herder as herders effect is a "cast" effect and not etb. i think the deck is pretty solid as is. maybe run a 4th declaration of stone? its just sooo good. also a secon sorin might be worth a try. my suggestion is to play a couple of "erase" or other enchantment removal in the sb, to get rid of "virulent plague" which will shut this deck down completely after sideboarding.

Yea, I have a 4th declaration in stone I want to put in for something. Erase, unfortunately is out of standard my answer for virulent plague is 1x main board and 2x side board Anguished Unmaking, 1x Quarantine Field, and also duress and transgress also hit it if they have it in hand. So if they get virulent plague in hand at the beginning I can most likely snag it and it will also go towards my exile for blight herders or wasteland stranglers. If I add another Sorin I will replace an Ob Nix for it. Eldrazi Displacer, I think is cool, but I never really like investing in things that don't have immediate impact when it hits the board not to mention the waste cost which is probably reasonable, but I don't want have to worry about it. The deck will probably remain as is for the most part, until further play tests justify change or the current meta which is still being defined. Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.

Perhaps you could run To the Slaughter in the sideboard to use against Plainswalker-heavy decks like the new Esper Control deck? You don't even need the delirium effect, which might be hard to get.

Also, I like the way you use Blight Herder along with the enchantment exiling effect. +1!

Hey, thanks ruben5000 for the suggestion and upvote. I think To the Slaughter is good, but I would much rather choose what target I destroy than have my opponent choose.
I looked at your deck and the cards that I don't really agree with are Pick the Brain even though it is pretty good with delirium it will take you a bit of time to get, considering you aren't running any artifact creatures, evolving wilds, or dead weight for delirium outlets. I think running Transgress the Mind is more reliable. Eerie Interlude I think should be removed it is better for a fast creature deck for protection and enter the battlefield effects which you do have considering avacyn, topplegeist and mindwrack, but I favor more removal. Vessel of Malignity is going against the synergy of your deck and I would replace it with something more impactful, meaning a spell that does something when it is played. Some dig and draw would be useful so I would suggest Read the Bones which is very good for this. Also, Dead Weight is really good early removal that puts an enchantment quickly into your graveyard, Evolving Wilds helps mana fix and put a land into your graveyard, Thraben Gargoyle Flip is an early blocker that puts artifact/creature into your graveyard which makes getting delirium really fast and you generally trade with it. It takes a lot of time to tweak mana bases so I am assuming it works for you, although I would run at least 25 lands since you have 4 6CMC spells that you really want to cast on time. Oh, Ever After and Descend upon the Sinful are negative synergy, but you could play around it. You may want remove Descend upon the Sinful and replace it with Planar Outburst if you really want to board wipe, then you can grab thing with your Ever After.

Been looking at BW control for standard until I get better at it so I can play Seasons Past. But I really like this list. Tempting to try this out for Wednesday.

you might want to consider Voldaren Pariah Flip. Sacrificing 3 1/1s to wipe your opponents board feels pretty nice

Well I would consider taking out Hallowed Moonlight out from your board. The reason is that if coco goes off it is not really worth holding out two mana for instant speed because the rest of your removal isn't instant. It's almost worth it to splash green for Dragonlord Dromoka so you get more mileage out of your boardwipes. That being said for a FMN I wouldn't mind boarding in Planar Outburst or even Flaying Tendrils for that heavy Aggro format. Especially with humans being tier 1. Those are just my thoughts anyways. Been trying to make black white control work for a while now. Had to move over to blue white flyers.

That is a good card too, didn't thought about it.
Eldrazi Displacer as a 3 drop, I think it has synergy as well with Blight Herder, and to bouce some enemy creatures.
This was to replace Wasteland Strangler, but it has some great synergy with the exiled control that we have.
I'm just dropping my thoughts and ideas, hope it helps on something.
