Yes, but I'd much rather have Collected Company in the 4-drop slot.

If you want to run CoCo I'd run more small creatures. You're averaging out negative on mana investment, and will be getting only 1 creature more times than I think you'd like (here's calculations for reference http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/magic-math-orator-of-ojutai-collected-company-and-dragons-of-tarkir/). Additionally, you'll also miss tasigur with CoCo, just so you know. With 13 targets I don't think ranger's a bad idea, though you might want to go with a Dromoka's Command or a Path to Exile for removal, or a Qasali Pridemage/Scavenging Ooze/Noble Hierarch.

Thanks for your suggestions, I have a bunch of new ideas for this!

Emerge Unscathed is a personal favorite! Protection is one of the most versatile effects in the game. It can: save a creature form removal, make a creature unblockable, or allow a creature to block anything. On top of that, it comes back again at the begining of your next turn! The downside for this deck would be that it exiles itself.

Your deck doesn't appear to have enough 2 and three drops to make use of collected company. Best case scenario is you get two tarmogoyfs. Worst case you see Tasigur and Ghor-Clan and cry a little bit. Even the best case scenario isn't that exciting. If you can't decide how to replace it, throw in a few Manamorphose for the time being. It will be as though you simply cut the deck size down and will get you out of those sticky situations where your dual lands and basics don't add up into the combination of spells you want.

@chaoswalker What do you think of Bygone Bishop or Arlinn Kord Flip as replacements? Emerge Unscathed has been on my radar for months, but simply seems to lack the power as an individual card to find a spot in the deck. I'd like most if not all of the cards in the deck to be able to have a decently sized impact on the game without requiring any other cards to be in the mix.

Those seem like viable options IMO. They're both mid/late game support when you're out of fuel or looking for that last damage. You coul do a split, 2 Bishop, 2 Kord and see how that works? Otherwise maybe just something that ups your aggro and/or damage because that's all this deck wants to do.

@blasphemale (nice name lol)
With only two slots opened up by taking out Collected Company I wouldn't want to split between the two cards. I'm leaning more towards Bygone Bishop simply because of the fact that this deck runs out of cards so quickly. Arlinn Kord Flip has the upside of a board presence + burn but at the same time is slower than the Bishop. I'm so torn ;-;

Test them both. I'd probably go with bygone because you have no flyers, and because you're swinging every turn so you can't protect arlinn.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I'm currently testing the Bishop and haven't actually drawn and landed a single one in a game yet. More games to come for testing!

I was skeptical of bishop at first, but the longer the game runs the more attractive it is to drop. (usually around turn 4 or 5) I'd say keep at least one in the deck, if not both.

Now that Bedlam Reveler exists you might be able to drop Bygone Bishop
