For now, though, the basic gist: plays like an Izzit, runs like a Gruul. The various Instants and Sorceries provide burn damage, creature damage, and land searching. See: Lightning Strike, Fight with Fire, and Grow from the Ashes. With the ramping potential of Llanowar Elves and Elfhame Druid, these spells all end up being fairly cheap and easy to pull off. Insult to Injury is used to amplify them, and Primal Amulet   is used to cheapen them further, and after turning into Primal Wellspring, duplicate them. In fact, Primal Wellspring combo'd with a kicked Fight with Fire is 20 damage right there.

With the Instants and Sorceries in the grave, Ghitu Lavarunner and Ghitu Chronicler can do what any good Izzit mage does best: use them. The former buffs itself into a solid mid-game draw, and the latter brings them back to reak havoc once more.

I've not done much with Standard, so any and all suggestions of good options are greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to look at my deck!
