Erm... This comment is basically just going through your various combos with fine tooth comb and telling you which ones don't work as stated by the description. You might already know what's below, all I'm doing is saying what's written incorrectly, and giving a suggestion that fits with one of your attempted combos.

Firstly, Intervention Pact cannot give you infinite life unless someone is in the process of dealing infinite damage to you. It's a fine wall to keep you from dieing, but it's not infinite life.

Mimic vat and Snapcaster cannot work the same as Charmbreaker Devils. Additionally, Time Stop cannot interact with Charmbreaker Devils other than by being milled. (Time stop exiles itself from the stack as a part of it's own resolution.)

Snapcaster exiles the card from your graveyard as a result of casting it, if you're looking for a creature that can actually combo with Mimic Vat in the manner which you suggest, Chancellor of the Spires is the only one that comes immediately to mind.

Shamen3mill Thanks for pointing out a few things and ill get them corrected. As for Chancellor of the Spires, wouldnt Archaeomancer do a better job? Since the Chancellor does opponent's graveyard.

It's worth noting that Eye only copies the spells that his has effectively "imprinted", for lack of a better phrase. The player may select any number of the copied spells to cast. This means they don't have to cast any, if they so choose. The upkeep trigger on the pacts won't go off because they will only be applied if the spells are in fact cast.

Also, perhaps it was unlisted at the time but, I'm assuming the Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is meant to be Gideon of the Trials.

Desperately, desperately needs a Sunforger: It can tutor for any of your red "suicide instants", then tutor for Angel's Grace on the following turn to save you :) This frequently can work as a Boros Time Walk :D I've been meaning to find a deck for that combo forever XD

Also, Idyllic Tutor and Gamble can help you find combo pieces, while Scroll Rack is a wonderful draw piece.

Have you considered Stifle/Trickbind/Disallow/etc to counter the "you lose" trigger? :D

I made a 5 color deck that did this exact thing two or three years ago before I found tappedout and then tore it apart for the inconsistency of 5 colors and needing to get all those combo pieces. I mean, now you have Exquisite Archangel and card:Gideon of the Trials. +1 nonetheless as I honestly am glad to experience some sort of nostalgia that actually works! I playtested it twice, but never used the general or any of the swing dudes, ie Geist of Saint Traft. Any reason why you chose him?

Lastly, I would like to suggest at least a Sol Ring. Playtesting without any mana rocks felt extremely weird (but that may just be me). Selective Memory might be a cool deal to cut all the cards you don't "need", especially if you die and have Lich's Mirror on field. Curse of Exhaustion might be a tech card based on meta. I play against a lot of combo decks and can sometimes lose to them before I'm even set up. I've found Curse to be a great way to slow down the one person who is the most trouble.

Again +1

Daedalus19876 Excellent suggestions! Added Sunforger, Gamble and Enlightened Tutor over Idyllic Tutor so I can grab sundial too. Watch as this comes up against a mill deck after this decision... Ill have to find a place for one of those counterspells too.

Eiti3 Im glad you like it! Wish I could of seen that 5 color deck as well. Per your suggestions, I have removed the Geist, it was in there for protection with the 4/4 that stayed due to sundial but I think your Curse of Exhaustion idea would work far better. Also added a sol ring because... im not sure why it wasnt in here in the first place!

Thanks guys! Always appreciated!

wraya2 Maybe, but if im casting a few spells a turn, chances are im combo-ing out. Ill play test it and see how she runs.

ccevik I have no idea why its not a commander staple. Its like a second chance.

Hive mind with glorious end will only make the person to the right of you lose, you all cast the spell in order, but the person to the right exiles all spells, including the original and they will lose while the rest carries on.

Demo102 corrected the description. Thanks for pointing that out.

Magosi, the Waterveil does not interact how you wish with Glorious End.

Glorious End waits until you enter an end step and it kills you. It doesn't specify the end step of the next turn, but rather your next end step. If you don't have a loss preventer out, skipping your end step will only delay the inevitable.

Damn, updated. This is why im not a judge

Every day, I become more convinced that Magosi, the Waterveil is simply unplayable. I love trying to break underappreciated cards but honestly I think there is no saving that one.

On another tangent, that cycle should 100% be legendary. It bothers me every time I see them (and would have prevented those ridiculous Scapeshift decks).

Magosi works with Final Fortune/Warrior's Oath/Last Chance pretty well.

This deck needs Rings of Brighthearth. It comboes well with planeswalkers, Magosi, Kiki Jiki, Mangara, Sunforger and more

If Shu Yun isn't part of the game plan anyways you could switch to Zedruu the Greathearted just to fake out people with hopes of group hug before you start to combo.

Ruhan of the Fomori is more thematic, since this deck's theme is recklessness.

Kraum and Ishai incentivize opponents to do nothing, or as little as possible, since casting spells benefits you heavily.

Numot, the Devastator gives you some fun on your extra turns.

Love the deck, immediate upvote. Although, I do have considerations to make it stronger, like Willbreaker (it works great with the commander's activated ability, even if he is a dummy commander). I'm still confused on why you excluded the stifle-like cards, especially with all the "loose the game" triggers? Also, some pain lands (Shivan Reef, Battlefield Forge, Adarkar Wastes) might not make the deck stronger, but hey, I love em. Besides that, great deck and keep up the good works.

April 28, 2017 9:02 p.m.

Stubborn Denial and Willbreaker v Voltaic Key or Boros Charm? Denial and Willbreaker work well with the commander himself, but Key and Charm work well with your combos. Just something to consider

I have never ever thought of those Hive Mind combos! Absolutely brilliant. One of my favorite cards is Final Fortune, and I love the same kind of play style as you do. Def gonna try to make a deck that includes the Hive Mind combos now for my meta... Thanks!

Maybe add a Disrupt Decorum?
