Intro of redness then redness then redness!
this deck is fast and fierce. any deck that takes a few turns to stabilize mana will get smashed very quickly, and with all of the three color decks in standard, the ease of mana in mono red gives me an immediate advantage.
anyway, as if the deck wasn't clear enough, I'll break it down:
Stromkirk Noble,
Rakdos Cackler
, and Vexing Devil: agression at its finest. They all put immediate pressure on any opponent.
Ash Zealot and
Gore-House Chainwalker
: more quick and powerful creatures. as a bonus, ash zealot makes your opponent think twice before thinking twice!
Krenko's Command: surprisingly versatile. chumps, glass cannons off of a dynacharge, or small hits from hellrider. generally a good thing to have around.
Mizzium Mortars : crowd control, or some spot removal as well.
Dynacharge
: my god... this card. it can give a sudden boost to the whole team, or a quick pump to anything. works extremely well with pyreheart wolf.
Pyreheart Wolf: can you say evasion? This thing makes it so hard for your opponent to stop you, and it has two lives. simply amazing.
Hellrider
: This thing just throws fire at you opponent. Friken' awesome.
Thundermaw Hellkite: automatic five damage at least, and can tap down or kill any spirit tokens. Extreme power.
Angel's Tomb
: don't laugh. this is essentially a 3/3 flier for three when i play creatures every turn, not to mention, it dodges any sorcery removal or wraths.
SIDEBOARD:
Pithing Needle: I hate jace, I hate Tamiyo, I hate (insert every damn card here). This stops a lot.
Curse of the Pierced Heart: I know there will be some annoying stall/turbofog decks to deal with, and this will whittle away at them.
Electrickery I know that one of the people at my FNM is running a deck with a bunch of mana dorks pulling out things like utarva hellkite and such. This kills ALL the mana dorks. other than archdruid.
Flames of the Firebrand
; versatile way to clear out tokens, etc.
Traitorous Blood: I'll take that, thanks.
Vandalblast: gets rid of annoying equipment, etc.
So yeah, that's about it
