This is a fun, non-competitive deck I came up with for free-for-all multiplayer EDH in MTGO. To summarize it all, you win by protecting yourself with pillow fort spells, build up life points and drop an alt-win card (or Divine Intervention if you feel like being a jerk). You can make the most of Atalyas life gain ability by ramping mana (Nykthos, Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power and Caged Sun), doubling the gain (Boon Reflection and Rhox Faithmender) and copying her ability (Illusionists Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth). You can then turn that extra life into cards (Well of Lost Dreams and Book of Rass) or protection (Righteous Aura and Glacial Chasm). Throw in some tutoring and land acquisition spells for speed and youve got a surprisingly fun mono-white control deck. Its a little tricky to pull off, but I have won games with it before and its always fun to throw other players for a loop by playing obscure, non-aggressive generals, only to hit them with a battlefield shutdown and alt win combo late in the game when they dont expect it. Your opponents will focus their attention on more aggressive players, unwilling to or incapable of engaging the non-aggressive player with the unpopular commander at the risk of leaving themselves exposed. This will often buy me enough time to get the cards I need to protect myself and set myself up for a surprise win.
