I love me some Dance of the Skywise in my Zada, Hedron Grinder deck. The fact that the +1/+1 from prowess tacks on to it is even better. Maybe throw her in as a 1-of and see if she does anything other than get exiled by Abbot. How does Reckless Bushwhacker perform? I've had my eye on that card, but haven't thrown it into anything yet.

Reckless Bushwhacker is really, REALLY good. Imagine this curve- Turn 1 Mountain into Monastery Swiftspear. Hit for one. Opponent at 19. Turn 2 Shivan Reef or Island into Stormchaser Mage. Swing for 2. Opponent at 17. Turn 3, depending on the land, either Titan's Strength or Slip Through Space into Reckless Bushwhacker. Swing for 11 or 8. Opponent at 6-9 on turn 3.

If you took out the Abbot of Keral Keep then you might think about changing the name of the deck. Not that it is important, but it might throw someone off that is looking for a deck with Abbot in it as a key component. Also you have a lot of 1cmc spells, why not use Jori En, Ruin Diver? Seems like it would be a good fit.

XD Yeah, that was before the switch, but lets remember that lore-wise, right before Chandra left for Zendikar, SHE was made the Abbot of Keral Keep :D And I would, but despite his nature, Jori En doesn't really fit this deck- he is "behind" on mana efficiency stat-wise, and although he can also put in the beats, T3 is too important for us to be taking a turn off to cast him. T3 represents anywhere from 1 to 7 damage, and Jori En is none of it. Thanks for the suggestion though, I might test with it and see how things work.

well that is assuming that your creatures are still alive, you dont have many, and most of your spells depend on them being in play still. But obviously you are a master of this game so I'll leave it alone.

? No, it's just that we have enough draw to continuously power out threats. Or at least it has tested out that way. Matt Sperlings version has more draw with Polluted Delta + Sunken Hollow in the mainboard and Painful Truths in the side. He also can play more Treasure Cruises because he has all those fetches filling the graveyard, whereas I don't. I do know that I may need to add more creatures, but so far testing has worked out pretty well where I'm at.

I've been running a UR Prowess deck, although mine goes wide with Dragon Fodder, Hordeling Outburst, and Reckless Bushwhacker.

A few thoughts:

You definitely don't need a full playset of Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh  Flip, as it's just limiting your pump targets to run four. This feels a little low on creatures as it is, even before you consider the level of spot removal available right now. Splitting the playset between Chandra and the Abbot might be worth looking into. Also Chandra, Flamecaller, although she's been tough to get a hold of lately.

Another creature to consider, especially after rotation: Jhessian Thief. Her and Slip Through Space seem potent, moreso after Treasure Cruise is gone. There's also Zada, Hedron Grinder, who I've been thinking about trying.

I'm not big on Dance of the Skywise, and I wouldn't want too many in a deck with Prowess creatures, but post-rotation I could see it working well with Thing in the Ice.

Actually, because of the stack, the Prowess trigger stays on the creature. Turn 2 5/5 Swiftspear :D And yeah, I might do the half and half. That's a good idea. I was running Bushwhacker, but I don't know what to take out for it.

D'oh, you're right - I forgot that Prowess worked that way. Alright, that makes sense.

And Bushwhacker's great, but I don't think you need it here because you're not going terribly wide. It's a nice kill, but there are more consistent options available for this build. But if you're interested in trying it, I might take out Expedite. I like that it's a cantrip and all, but when you've got 8 Haste creatures anyway, it feels a little weak.

Yeah. It was mostly for Chandra's benefit. Might switch in 1 or 2, who knows. Thanks for all the feedback, secondwhiteline!
