This deck's entire focus is on +1/+1 counters. Use Outlast to get +1/+1 counters on your creatures or cheat using Phalanx Leader 's Heroic ability. Get out one or more of these 6 cards: Abzan Battle Priest , Tuskguard Captain , Longshot Squad , Abzan Falconer , Ainok Bond-Kin , and/or Mer-Ek Nightblade ; your creatures with counters will now have 1 or more of several abilities (Flying, Lifelink, Deathtouch, Reach, Trample, First Strike). If you draw Yisan, the Wanderer Bard , use his ability to grab any combination of the above creatures. The icing on the cake is Ivorytusk Fortress letting you untap on opponent's turns.
