I'm getting a little worried about Drown in Sorrow so I decided to put three Chief of the Scale in the maybeboard. Still don't know where to put it in my main board. Could use some help here on improving my deck. Thanks!

Rally the Ancestors might be better in this deck than Return to the Ranks for this deck.

I don't think that Rally the Ancestors will be better, yes it is an instant speed spell, but what I need is a spell that can return most of my creatures from the graveyard, then make them give pressure to the opponent again. It says here that with Rally the Ancestors, I will need to exile the creatures I returned at the beginning of the next upkeep.

I think I'll stick to Return to the Ranks. Thanks for the suggestion though!

If you were wanting to splash for Dragonlord Kolaghan then it would be as easy as changing some of your lands, but you might need to up the number to maybe 23-25 to hit that 7 drop with no ramp. You could change out 2x Sandsteppe Citadel For 2x of the Mardu land. Change Evolving Wilds for Bloodstained Mire and add two mountains. If you drop the 3x Titanic Growth You will be able to fit the mountains and 1x of Dragonlord Kolaghan.

For sure. I didn't know if you meant change to Mardu or splash the red in your Abzan to include Mardu cards lol. I had a list for a 4C midrange. That list looked good but the mana was inconsistent.

Maybe switching into a full Mardu deck? A 4-colored decks would have some problems with the manabase. But as far as possible, I'm planning in keeping this as a warriors tribal with a splash of a Butcher of the Horde or Kolaghan.

Still debating on it with my friends though, so I'll have to wait for a while before deciding.

What do u think about using Abzan Ascendancy instead of Citadel Siege i think citadel is too expensive for that type of deck!

C18android hmmm, Abzan Ascendancy looks nice but it only gives +1/+1 counters on my creatures that are already in the battlefield. On the other hand, Citadel Siege continuously gives 2 +1/+1 counters on one of my creatures, which means I still have the chance to give counters to my future creatures on other turns. And 4 mana isn't really a problem with this deck.

I'm gonna stick to Citadel Siege on this one.

That anti Boardwipe effect of Ascendancy seems nice though. Leaving 1/1 flying tokens is nice.

Great deck easy +1, a card I find helps against any deck minus mardu control is Athreos, God of Passage great card which makes it harder for the enemy to wipe and come back. Also Blood-Chin Fanatic great card lets You sack creatures in response to removal or post swing to finish them off. Another great card is Brutal Hordechief lets you deal extra dmg and gain life by just attacking? Oh and you all blocking a single creature? Easy win great cards and a great deck.

First off, Athreos, God of Passage looks like it could get a spot in mainboard, I really need a creature to help me battle removal especially Boardwipes and Athreos makes the opponent decide whether they lose life or let me recast my creatures. I've been denying the fact that I need Athreos for a while now since he will be repeated out soon but ill give him a shot.

I don't really like Brutal Hordechief, dunno why but if prefer playing a siege rhino turn three Rager than this creature. The Lifegain is good but I have plenty of ways to maintain my life. I'll put it on maybe though.

I try to avoid using creatures with double colors in them (e.g. CMCs with 1BB), only exception is Citadel Siege. So nah, UK pass up on Fanatic. I'll even replace the downfall with a murderous cut for mana issues.
