FNM RESULT 9/26/2014

Record: 2-2

Game 1: Mono Green Devo: 2-0 Win

Simply milled myself then whip'd Siege Rhino + Nighthowler for massive damage + lifegain. 2nd game was a little tougher, but Resulted in an Empty the Pits Cast for 9 2/2 Zombies. Woo love that card.

Game 2: Mono Black Aggro: 2-0 Win

Game one he mulligan'd to 5 and didnt drop anything besides a Tormented Hero until turn 3. By then Siege Rhino and Nemesis of Mortals Became to much to handle. Game 2 I sideboarded Drown in Sorrow and He didnt get anything going.

Game 3: Mono Red Sligh: 2-1 Loss

I won the First game as he got mana screwed, but the other 2 games he just went HAM with Akroan Crusader and Monastery Swiftspear Nothing I could do and didnt draw into drown in sorrows.

Game 4: Abzan Midrange: 1-0 Loss.

The ENTIRE FIRST GAME took the full round. It was a lot of back and Forth. I played siege rhino he would remove it. He played Siege Rhino, I got rid of it, I whipped mine back, he exiled it. etc etc... Ultimately what won him the game was Ajani, Mentor of Heroes ultimate + a 9/9 Monstrous Fleecemane Lion Paired with 2 Wingmate Roc's with their tokens.

Overall, i was pleased with the deck. Being new to this mechanic as I only play aggro I had my doubts, and I definitely made misplays throughout the night, but I saw where I went wrong and will probably give this at least one more shot. I know what changes I should make, just have to follow through. Necropolis Fiend was very underwhelming and I almost never wanted it to be the card i drew, so replacing that with Ashen Rider and also adding in some Abzan Charm.
