This is a pretty basic Origins elves build that has an abzan twist. Adding white will give us access to Sorin, Solemn Visitor, Siege Rhino, Rally the Ancestors, Abzan Charm, Abzan Ascendency, and Dromoka's Command. I wouldn't run the command main board but I would trade it for one Ultimate Price in the side board. I also think think the mana base might be subject to change. I might just suck at shuffling, or be super unlucky, but I seem to drawing into a lot of lands late game. I also find myself using Collected Company to find 5 lands, which isn't the best feeling. I think maybe another 1 or 2 drop would do the job. The 4th Elvish Visionary or Elvish Mystic. I also thought to use Thornbow Archer to fill the gap. I cant decide on the best card to fill the slot, OR which land to take out. Drowning in land is the only problem I've had with the build, and it doesn't even happen enough to make the deck bad. Casting Collected Company turn 3 and shifting 4 or 5 lands away isn't a bad deal. That being said I hold a firm belief that after BFZ releases Abzan Elves will have an amazing spot in the meta. The new dual lands from BFZ will replace at least one Caves of Koilos. The new Gideon could replace one Rally the Ancestors, I'm not completely sold on that yet but we'll see. If another Elvish Mystic/Llanowar Elves type card gets printed then This deck doesn't really lose anything at rotation. Lastly I just want to point out that Eldarzi are coming back and to me it was pretty intimidating. I thought ,"What is the meta going to be like with 8/9 Trampling common's, and a 4/4 mana dork running around? Not fun that's what..". Then someone pinched me and I realized Eldarzi are big, dumb, and slow (in standard.. hopefully). Elves are fast, and deadly. I think elves will be a strategy in standard all the way up to when collected company rotates out.
