I'm working on an Abzan deck for FNM mainly. I have a handful of cards that lend themselves to an abzan build, like a playset of Fleecemanes, Hero's Downfalls, 3 Caryatids, 3 Herald of Torment, and 2 Rhinos. but also a bit of store credit to spend so I'm trying to figure out what to build exactly. I can't afford thoughtsiezes necessarily but I think i can put something together. Because I'm lacking some key expensive cards I'm also hoping to test out some cards that I'll put in a maybe board here.

In particular I think it would be great fun to make their 4/5 Rhino, or 5/5 Polukranos, or even 3/3 Rider fight my Hornet Nest making a bunch of hornets nice and early. Ideal situation Setessan Tactics could let me generate 3-5 hornets and eat a creature or 2 for 4 mana at instant speed. Sounds nice.

Besides this I think Silence the Believers and Utter end make for good removal.

Athreos, God of Passage appears to be a great 3 drop for my needs even if it never becomes a creature. Combined with the Whip or the Bow it would lessen the fear of swinging immensely and make a trade much worse for the opponent.
