You should add Spike Feeder. It allows you to get infinite life if you have that and archangel of thune

I was thinking that but it's turn 4 at the earliest I can get that combo out. It'd require turn 1 forest + elvish mystic, turn 2 any land playing Spike Feeder, turn 3 another land to drop another Elvish mystic or a 3 CMC card (sin Collector or kitchen finks) so that turn 4 I could eldritch evo it into archangel of thune. Which is good but most people at my LGS play a decent amount of hard removal/counter cards so infinite combos are really hard to get off after game 1 due to things like surgical extraction or in 1 persons case at my LGS an early stain the mind cause tokens. Though I may get 2 of them in side board cause there are a couple burn decks that like to win turn 4/5 by dealing 30+ damage to face... thanks for the suggestion!

Anafenza, the Foremost might be better as an Abzan deck than Rest in Peace for sideboard.

No problem. I play Karador Commander usually, which is an Abzan Pod/Survival deck. I had to learn a lot of Abzan static effect creatures and ETB ones.

I really like Voice of Resurgence in here. You don't mind to sac it and you can reach the Siege Rhino this way

Abzan Battle Priest works really well with archangel of thunder, if you check the rulings on thund each creature you attack with that has lifelink counts as a separate lifegain event. So if you attack with 6 creatures with lifelink they all get 6 + counters.

SGT_ST0N3R:I actually originally had that in as a 1 of but in the current set up I only have 8 creatures total that stay on the battlefield, 4 of which are elvish mystics. When I switch to voice of resurgence I'll probs put it back in as a 1 of.

You might replace Elvish Mystic with Birds of Paradise once you have the money. In multicolor, it's pretty close to strictly better.

Updates comming soon! Got a bunch of stuff and decided to try out some cards from aether revolt! Trying to figure out how to do the "Updates" thing so that it makes sense. I'll also be updating the description to give people that made suggestions that I used credit! Thanks everyone for the suggestions! That being said, suggestions are always welcome, even if it's to just flat out remove something cause it doesn't work with the deck.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa is a great one most blackwater decks just can't remove him at all.

Deck looks awesome, and I love the 2 of Obzedat, Ghost Council, which is one of my favorite cards of all time. +1 from me!

My one suggestion would be Eternal Witness instead of Renegade Rallier, just so you can get anything back, but I can see the benefits of Rallier.

GabeCubed I like the idea of returning any card to hand, I might run it sideboard for if I have match ups where I need many Path to Exile or Inquisitions/Thoughtseizes. Though at the same time, I feel like having Voice of Resurgence come straight back to the battlefield when I sac it for it's ability is very strong as it basically adds 3 extra power to the board instead of 1. If Evo didn't exile itself I would most certainly run Witness though. Then again it would also help with mana fixing from sac lands or even getting more Siege Rhino casts... Hmmmmm.... I have to do some thinking...lol! Great suggestion!

I know you think Spike Feeder combo is slow or inconsistent but trust me you want it in the deck. I play Abzan Evolution as well and it plays pretty much like a creature heavy midrange deck but with a backdoor combo. You play all your games normally and every now and again you get to go infinite and win some matches you may have been way behind in or had no business winning to begin with. The other bonus of running it is it can reset your Kitchen Finks as well.

Personally Im also more in favor of disruption in the form of creatures instead of spells since you are a toolbox deck. 1 ofs of Scavenging Ooze, Reclamation Sage, Orzhov Pontiff, or Fiend Hunter can make your Eldritch Evolutions better mainboard. In the sideboard you can run a good amount of silver bullets like Eidolon of Rhetoric, Aven Mindcensor, Sin Collector, Spellskite, Melira, Sylvok Outcast, and Fulminator Mage.

Some other cards I highly suggest would be Eternal Witness, Thragtusk, and Reveillark. With Witness in your deck you can get huge value out of your Reveillark by returning Eternal Witness, Voice of Resurgence, Fiend Hunter, Scavenging Ooze, and all of the sideboard cards I suggested.

GabeCubed and Mandalorian The both of you have suggested I use Eternal Witness. I've been trying to figure out for a while whether or not use us it or Renegade Rallier. Since both of you suggested using Witness I'm going to do so and I'll give you both credit of course! Also both of you made a really good point (basically same point lol) about why it was better. I kind of understood why when it was originally suggested... but wanted to try it. After playing it for a bit I now really understand the Voice + Rene combo is, as both of you said, not worth the loss of options that grabbing a Witness provides! So thank you for teaching me!

Also, Mandalorian, I am gonna use your suggestions but honestly I kinda need help figuring out what to take out and replace. I do want to keep 1 Obzedat cause I absolutely love the card... I understand it's not the greatest card and there are better options for a slot in the deck but yea. With that said... if it's seriously holding up the deck, I can always run them in a more casual deck. Anyways, I've made some updates so far and am gonna add them into the Updates section shortly. Also, I actually used to have 2 Sin Collectors main board but ended up taking them out as I have a bunch of hand disruption already. That being said, I think I should have 1 in side board? What do you think, side board or main?

Eiyros sooo... you suggested spike feeder very shortly after I made this deck and I didn't think it was a good idea.. Now Mandalorian has also suggested it and it made me think about it some more. After playing this deck a bunch I've realised maybe it was a good after all! See the reason I thought it wouldn't be that useful is because, as Mandalorian pointed out, I didn't think it'd be consistent enough and didn't think it'd be of any use due to the amount of removal I thought I'd be facing. Guess I should of thought some more... I have a lot of hand disruption... so yea, thanks for making that suggestion early on and thanks to Mandalorian for making it again! I'll be giving the both of you credit for the suggestion!

Anguished Unmaking might do good as a one of for general permanent removal. Can't find anything to cut though.
