My attempt at a spirit/arcane tribal deck for pauper. The name comes from the deck's spooky creatures combined with its ability to cycle through certain cards repeatedly, and because it also includes a few cycling cards. If you like really durdley decks, this one is perfect for you! Work in progress.

The general game plan is to remove all our opponent's threats and drown them in value. Here are some synergies:

Elder Pine of Jukai and Theif of Hope are the primary engines that benefit from us casting spirits and arcane spells. Elder Pine smoothes our draws and Theif drains to get us closer to a win. When either of them die, we can recur key Spirit cards from our graveyard via the soulshift ability, particularly Hana Kami and Nameless Inversion.

Nameless Inversion is one of the best cards in the deck. It kills many creatures in the format at instant speed and counts as a spirit because it is a changeling tribal instant.

Hana Kami allows us to recur arcane spells over and over. If we live long enough, we can begin looping it every turn by splicing soulless revival onto whatever arcane spell we are bringing back. All we need to do is hit enough lands in play to stall out combat indefinitely with ethereal haze in such a way. This is what I refer to as the "SoulCycle."

We run quite a few arcane spells because they synergize with our primary spirits. Kodama's Reach is the softest include, but does help us mana-fix and accrue the lands needed for our SoulCycles. Soulless Revival is a key part of the combo with Hana Kami, but can also fish back any other spirit we want. Blessed breath is a great shield from spot removal, especially when spliced. In the sideboard, Death Denied functions as a bigger Soulless Revival and Horobi's Whisper helps take down really big creatures that we otherwise can't touch.

Guardian of the Guildpact is a solid beater that dodges a lot of removal and is a primary win condition once we stall out.

Waxmane Baku helps control big creatures and keep them out of combat, or tap down an opponent's board to swing for lethal when the time is right. You'll value this guy against the likes of Ulamog's crusher.

Unearth is one of the few nonspirit, nonarcane cards in the deck because it's absolutely nuts. The ability to get back almost any of our key creatures for one mana really bolsters our resilience and helps us keep Theives of Hope in play or recur Hana Kami to then recur spells. It also cycles, although you won't use that ability often.

We run a tapped manabase because we want to hit all our colors and plan on playing a long game anyway. We also run a few cycling lands because when Elder Pine draws us into them, we can exchange them for real cards.

Our board contains some Masked Vandals for artifact/enchantments, Angelic Curators to block artifact creatures (I'm not sold on this one), and a few more copies of certain cards. Honestly this needs the most help right now.
