Good idea. Although I would much rather keep Fleecemane and Ram in the sideboard for now. However, Abzan Charm is nice with small does, and I might board two Abzan Ascendancy in the future. Gotta try it out first.

The deck is 63 cards. Try to get it to 60. Also get the mana up to 2/5 of the deck.

The only downfall I see is you've got no way to protect your planeswalkers from burn spells and kill spells. In a deck with blue you can run counters to keep that shit away from your walkers. Here you're out of luck. Sure, everything dies to removal but planeswalkers are harder to replace and you have certain ways of protecting your creatures like blinking them or giving them hexproof for a turn or pro-black etc. You can't really do that with walkers which is why, IMHO, you absolutely need Blue in a walker deck.

I would take out an Elspeth, Sun's Champion for Ajani Steadfast or Ajani, Mentor of Heroes 3 seems like too many. And if you want to speed it up you could -1 Banishing Light or Hero's Downfall and -1 Thoughtseize to add +2 Elvish Mystic and could easily put those in sb for extra removal

benwah3000 I see what you mean, but what color would be best to replace with blue? All three have really powerful stuff in standard at the moment. And Lolmstead That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. I will put it through playtesting and see how it fares. However, I used to have 2 Elvish Mystic in this deck; however, it would just mess me up if I top decked it or if I couldn't play it turn one. It always had a knack for showing up late game when I didn't need it. And I like having the removal in there. But do you have any good ideas about something good to sideboard Thoughtseize for?

Its personal preference either way. You could always do 4 or 5 color planeswalkers and run all the really beast ones. It would require a lot of mana fixing but with Xenagos and Kiora to assist and with Mana Confluence it wouldn't be that much of an issue if you really put your mind to it.
Either way, you're gonna need more land. 24 would be marginal but 25-26 would be more realistic otherwise you're never gonna get Garruk or Elspeth on the field. Definitely include Sandsteppe Citadel over Mana Confluence as it'll pay dividends especially with very few t1 plays.
Raise the Alarms and Rhino seem really outta place here. Sorin should already be providing you with plenty of life gain. Rhino is a great card but not here.
I'm also thinking Nissa isn't the right choice here. Here ult will only fetch you at best 6 lands. And her 2nd ability is essentially useless to you. And her 1st and Ult make your lands susceptible to mass removal or removal in-general which will put you back a lot further than you'd like. Again, great card, just not here.
Also, redo the whole side board. It makes no sense.

I played a few games online with abzan superfriends and used yours as a template: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-11-14-abzan-walkers/
The lifegain lands are better than the scry lands for surviving vs mono red and your creatures are pretty big walls with toughess of 3/4/5/5. Its pretty slow but lots of fun :P

Working on a similar deck. I thought I'd put in a few of Darksteel Citadel for Nissa to play with. Also thought Rakshasa Deathdealer would make fantastic blockers for the PW's. And toying with using The Chain Veil.
