Pretty simple point here - We have Heroic creatures generally giving +1/+1 counters off of their triggers, and Abzan creatures giving bonuses to creatures with +1/+1 counters. Phalanx Leader is the one carrying those that can't generate their own counters. God's Willing and Feat of Resistance are used to trigger Heroic, and can pseudo-counter some things. Launch the Fleet and Solidarity of Heroes can pull several Heroic triggers at once with Strive, and in a worst-case situation, the Abzan creatures can Outlast to give themselves counters, although that's less than ideal. Generally, if problems happen, Tethmos is there to pull back Phalanx.
