Where's my babe Serra Ascendant? Kind of a must-play in decks like this

Great deck! I love Angelic Accord Do you think the deck can work without the expensive angel cards? Broke student here.

jona813k - You could have a playset of Felidar Sovereign and a playset of Fiendslayer Paladin in place of the four angels in the deck.

Hope that helps!

An upvote would be appreciated if you like!

Thanks. Maybe some day i can upgrade to the Angels

Upvoted it hours ago ;)

Just one more question. Why not run Ajani Goldmane like zombiewarfare suggested. Seems really good.

Probably would never use his ultimate, but the first two abilities look pretty good. Might pick up two copies of that 'walker if I can find any at local card stores.

jona813k - Resplendent Angel should go down in price after it rotates out of Standard.

Lone Rider  Flip seems strong in your deck I would run 4

Just ordered a playset of Lone Rider since my LGS didn't have any.

I would go for no Ajani's Welcome. I would replace them by Soul Warden because if an opponent had 4 creatures enter the battlefield it will trigger Angelic Accord. Also, 4 Path to Exile's are needed. Ghostly Prison overSphere of Safety. With only 6 cards which spawn tokens, Intangible Virtue seems like overreacting. Rather, Aetherflux Reservoir than Felidar Sovereign

Auriok Champion would be rather good in sideboard.

Probably replacing Intangible Virtue and Sphere of Safety with a playset of Lone Rider (still haven't gotten them in the mail).

Might order a playset of Ghostly Prison for the sideboard.

Four Resplendent Angels, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Lyra Dawnbringers LIKE THEY'RE GOING OUT OF STYLE (they're not).

I'll add more of the now Standard angels once they rotate out of that format. Hopefully they will go down in value.

Anyone think I should swap Invoke the Divine into the sideboard?

Just thinking, as this deck it seems to rely quite a bit on lifegain, what about Boon Reflection? For me it always worked quite well together with Angelic Accord, which seems to be a big piece in your deck, although 5 CMC is not a small price to pay.

If you would use a lifegain doubler, I would recommend Rhox Faithmender , also switch Ajani's Welcome for Soul's Attendant / Soul Warden

i was gonna ask where Lyra Dawnbringer was, then realized your "angel deck" only has 4 angels. needs Path to Exile as well.

smleger - I've already used Entreat the Angels in this deck, but I replaced it with creatures. Light of the Legion looks promising. Don't know what to swap out for 'em. Maybe the Knight of Meadowgrain s.

As a sideboard consideration: Serra the Benevolent.
