Acid (Moss) Dropping Lumberjacks

Legacy Forest Land Destruction Orc RG (Gruul) Sacrifice

DreadKhan

Maybeboard

Not sure if this'll end up in Legacy or Casual, but here we are. I've always wanted to build this deck in some form, here it is. This is one of the more obnoxious ideas I can think of for a deck to be doing, actively ruining our opponent's topdeck long enough for our 8 6/6s to start beating face. I doubt anyone will want to pay a land, but who knows, maybe they don't know what I'm on somehow?

So, I'm starting to think about what I want in the sideboard, and it occurred to me I could run Ignoble Hierarch to allow me plenty of access to Black mana, which should be both a minimal adjustment (1-3 Forest/Swamp duals) to enable. I'm mostly concerned about decks being taller than me, possibly some artifact decks (I can run some wipes here quite happily, I run 0 artifacts atm), and probably something to hate on the graveyard, which Green and Black are both very, very good at. Not sure yet how I'd sideboard in here without ruining the decks original game plan, but removal for creatures, wipes for artifacts and graveyard hate should leave me in reasonable shape I think.

This is a fun deck IMHO, but maybe not great to play against, it can be pretty salty to have your topdeck fiddled with, for some decks this is backbreaking.

Anyways, Orcish Lumberjack is the all-star of this deck, enabling a turn 2 Mwonvuli Acid-Moss, which sounds decidedly similar to a 1 mana Sinkhole, and if I put 2 Avalanche Riders back in, it also works with Lumberjack, but if I do this I'd need to bounce Wall of Roots for Ignoble Hierarch, since I'd want another card I can play for 1 mana to follow up the possible Sinkhole effect. If I followed up with ramp that turn, I could easily play a Plow Under the next turn, which would not be a pleasant experience when you're already down a land, and it is probably nastier if you can hit them with a Stunted Growth if they still have enough cards, I think I'd scoop to that in almost every deck, even if they've just got 3 weenies out. Having a floor of turn 2 Stunted Growth sounds reasonable, and Plow Under turn 2 would be worth going down a land (provided I drew lands/ramp to make it up).

So, thinking about Rider, Hierarch and maybe splash in some Black to deal with creatures bigger than mine? Then it's to the sideboard, where I would shove in more removal, graveyard hate and a bit of who-knows. Probably should have Endurance in the side, if not the main.
