The rest of the deck consists of one Lotus Petal, one Dark Ritual, one Elixir of Immortality, one Spellbook, one Boseju, Who Shelters All and 93 swamps.
This is how a typical game with this deck works:
You draw a hand of 7 swamps and keep. Turns 1–3 you play swamps and nothing else. On turn 4 you play your 4th swamp and drop Maralen. Turn 5 you use Maralen’s ability to tutor Ad Nauseam and play it, choosing to draw your entire deck. You lose a total of 7 life from cards revealed and you now have your entire deck in your hands. You then drop Dark Sphere. It is important to do this before you cast your finisher, so I would recomend doing it first so as to not forget. After that play Lotus Petal, sacrifice it to add one black, play Dark Ritual to get three black , then you use two of that black to cast Sickening Dreams and choosing to discard 40 cards. While Sickening Dreams is still on the stack, sacrifice Dark Sphere to reduce its damage to you by half. The end result is that everything and everyone is dealt 40 damage except you, who is dealt 20, leaving you as the only player alive.
If for any reason you can’t cast Lotus Petal or Dark Ritual to power out the win on turn 5, you can instead play the Spellbook to wait for next turn. You should be fine as long as you play Boseju for your land drop on turn 6.
If you feel as though it is likely that your Ad Nauseam is going to get countered, simply play Maralen on turn 3, tutor Boseju on 4, then Boseju out Ad Nauseam on turn 5.
This is an insanely fun deck to play, and it is very VERY cheap even by EDH standards, at a whopping $20. The only downside is that if people know about the combo after the first game they will likely all attack you right off the bat, and since you have no defenses you will likely find yourself at the critical 20 life before you can get the combo off. Because of this I mainly use this deck as a joke deck or against people who I don’t know.
