this deck is basically built around the AEther rift enchantment. once that's in play most of the cards in your hand are creatures so you could have the highest manna costing card in the game in play on turn four. the second most important card is gleancrawler, putting creatures in your hand after they die so you got a chance to put it right back out on the next turn. the disciple of griselbrand sends your creatures right back to your hand and you gain life if you don't have the platinum emperion out. the thopter assembly goes out and comes right back to your hand next turn helping out the top decking problem. if you don't have any cards in hand the AEther rift cant help you that turn. Pelakka wurm helps cause it gives you life when it comes in has trample and you draw when it dies putting possibly 2 creatures in your hand. the eldercale wurm is to stop death by flight or spells and it adds some trample. the platinum emperion is for the same reason but it makes the death by spells and flight harder. The wurmcoil engine helps to have more blockers when it dies and helps a lot when its out giving you health and deathtouch. the primeval titan is to put lands out so you can play additional creatures per turn. I put vigor in to make your creatures bigger and harder to kill, but when he dies he don't go back to your hand. I put elvish piper in to get the high costing creatures out easier. and last but not least I put the privileged position in to stop your AEther rift from being destroyed.
