A semi-budgeted modern affinity deck. I'd ultimately want Arcbound Ravagers and Mox Opals but with the scarcity of modern events around me I don't want to invest that much yet. Hopefully down the road I can trade for them and slowly improve the deck.

Card Choices

Cranial Plating: Probably the best card in the deck. Equip it to a flyer or Etched Champion and go to town. Steelshaper's Gift is added essentially as a fifth copy.

Steel Overseer: Buffs up all the tiny creatures into threats. Especially helpful until the Cranial Platings arrive. Kind of slow so they'll probably be boarded out against faster match ups.

Master of Etherium: Similar role as Steel Overseer but is a bigger body itself.

Thoughtcast: Helps refill hands for super cheap (usually only U) which is really helpful with all of the quick plays.

Fling: Really helpful tool to get that last hit in to their life total. Almost always used to sac a Cranial Plating after attacking or in response to removal, but could also sac Master of Etherium as a back up.

Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas: Tez is usually run in Legacy versions but I'm like him as a singleton in Modern. He almost always wins the game the turn after he comes out. Turn 4, cast him, +1 to get a Cranial Plating or cheap creature for protection. Turn 5 he typically ultimates for the win.
