Champion of Lambholt is here because if the game stands longer than expected, with it in play and the combo made, it gains (for example) 300 counter on it and it becomes unblockable, because there are no creatures with such power.

Had fun playtesting this, and was upset seeing I would never get a Manamorphose since you don't have any haha. With the release of Modern Masters you might be able to find them a little easier.

Right now you have a total of ten win-cons in the form of Storm Entity , Grapeshot , and Champion of Lambholt . You really dont need this many, so I would cut Storm Entity , because it seems like the least effective

Haha! I dig it!

I agree. Storm Entity is too risky if you don't give it trample (Primal Rage ?). Six wincons seems to be just right, because pretty always have one in your opening hand.

Manamorphose is not the right card for this deck. It's good in a storm deck, but this isn't a storm deck, it's an infinite combo deck, and therefore Manamorphose doesn't fit.

Mindbreak Trap is finding it's way into sideboards so the Guttural Response and Vexing Shusher idea is important alongside Autumn's Veil .

Didn't see Leyline of Lifeforce ...

As long as this has Storm Entity and Grapeshot it's just a different type of Storm deck. And Manamorphose isn't the "wrong" card, it's a free spell that draws a card.

If OP doesn't agree, I suppose that's fine, but he should at least try them and playtest on the site. I honestly can't see them hurting.

"it's a free spell that draws a card" - it hides the card it replaces until turn 2 with little to no purpose or benefit

One would think that in most contexts any card that does something would be worth more than a card that does nothing.

thats not the fastest win you realize. the fastest win is exile 2 more and playing tree warden. to do this you have to go first

Might like dropping green, and adding Pyretic Rituals and Desperate Rituals. They can allow you to turn one a Cloudstone Curio, multiple can help you storm combo turn one.

Cool deck. How would you feel about adding some fetch lands and using Hidden Herbalists?

Or do you find that Burning-Tree Emissary and Priest of Urabrask are enough?
