This is a Doomsday-less Oloro control deck with only minimal pillowfort permanents and instead a large suite of countermagic and removal options. It focuses on acquiring and maintaining a consistent card advantage against its opponents, and leverages its large life total to stay competitive well into the late game of many edh pods. Our typical gameplan involves acquiring value from one of our card engines during the early game, laying down a wall of resistance in the mid-game, and then racing other late-game strategies with typical blue counterplay during the late game.

The deck enjoys playing both an Ulamog and a Test of Endurance as proactive win conditions, and previously some combos like Sanguine Bond - Exquisite Blood. Its engines are less reliant on the graveyard than my other blue decks, so it also has more removal options involving persistent graveyard threats. Lastly, its engines are nicely distributed across several permanent types - so it enjoys a mixture of mild permanent-based synergies despite its wrath-heavy lines (think Hall of Heliod's Generosity, Tragic Arrogance, and Inventors' Fair).
