This deck is good because of the several low drops. It helps to get stuff early and able to start swinging asap. Although not as early hard hitting as a mono red, it still packs a punch. The best card to get out first is Judge's familiar. Alot of decks run black cards, especially Thoughtseize It is a popular turn one card to play and countering one is great. You get to keep your hand a secret as well as not lose a card. Also I added quickness for several reasons. 1, it 1 mana, 2, it allows draw for only one mana, 3, it is an instant and buffs 6 of the decks creatures. Yes I could run 4 titan's strengths instead, and it is a possibility, but I have had my ass saved by the card draw several times and now I swear by it. Thassa is amazing and getting her on the field should be one of the main goals. Allowing your guys to swing unblockable is nice. Also her scry before you draw helps you set up for other parts in the game. Another creature I am going to add into the deck is Nightveil Specter. It is amazing and can turn any match around. You don't draw mana? That is fine, you exile one of your opponents and boom there is your mana. There is a reason all the pros love this guy. Finally this deck is good when you have more than one cyclops on the field and you play a quicken and hidden strings. playing both of those costs only 3 mana and being able to tap 2 things can either shut down you opponents creatures allowing you to go right on into their life or to untap something of your own that was tapped by an ability or other card. This deck synergizes rather well, and the only downside I see is that it is over 60 cards, but by only 2. You can trade some of the cards around and test it yourself. I plan on doing just that and trying to perfect this deck. I love Izzet and I know it is powerful.
