I've been trying to build a Standard deck around Deadbridge Chant and this is what I've come up with. This deck involves using deathtouch and removal to deal with aggro decks before winning with Vorapede and Desecration Demon. I kinda prefer edict spells like Far / Away or Devour Flesh to deal with hexproof creatures.
After exhausting all the spells, Deadbridge Chant will be used to 'draw' additional cards each turn, or cast the winners.
I haven't invested in cards such as Abrupt Decay and Thragtusk but I think they definitely belong in this deck.
I've played it against a few matchups so far, does well against aggro such as Boros except with bad hands since there's few 2 cc direct removal, deathtouch doesn't work against first strike after all.
Esper just owns this deck, because it's far too slow lol, and the creatures and chant are vulnerable.
Haven't played against Naya or Reanimator so I'm hoping to gather some feedback from you guys!
I think splashing another colour would be a good idea, but I'm not sure which, or maybe having a sideboard full of aggro creatures to rush against control decks. I'm open to any idea as long as it works with Deadbridge Chant! (I do admit it's quite a weak card but it's a whole lot of fun to play)
