Agro-culture

Modern

Baz-Turadan

Herrow! And welcome to Agro-Culture. The basic plan is to ramp into any of several options for the late game that will let me run over my opponent with massive stompy-style creatures. Keep in mind that, while it should be modern competitive to some degree, Im not rich so it's a little bit budget. My goal for this deck was actually to get into modern since Ive never played it before.

Like I said before, the plan is to punch the opponent into ground before they can stop it. But how do I do this you ask? well , I use my ramp package of:
Arbor Elf
Voyaging Satyr
Nissa, Worldwaker
Overgrowth
Utopia Sprawl
Then use that mana to put down things like:
Blightsteel Colossus
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
Sylvan Primordial
Worldspine Wurm
Wurmcoil Engine
Or pay the entwine cost for Tooth and Nail, thus getting the true Ideal end game for this deck the Xenagos, God of Revels combo. As you can see, this combo can put out some stupid amounts of power very quickly. I can usually do this anywhere from turn three to turn six or seven at the latest. Thus the name; Agro, because of the speed. And the Agriculture pun because its a ramp style, and thus uses green.

1 - this is a ramp deck. This makes creatures important, so don't run them into counter-spells if you can avoid it. Try to get them to use those up on extra mana enchantments or untappers, and if they refuse to take those use things like Primal Command.
2 - some games just cant be won. If they have too much removal then you just cant do much outside of Emey or Worldspine.
3 - last but not least, the combo is your #1 game plan. Most of the games you win will probably be due to this.
So like I said before Ive never really played in a competitive environment, and have never played modern. I do know a lot of the cards though because I have watched quite a bit. Keep in mind that Im on a budget, that being that I would like to come in under 500. Also since Ive never played modern before I have no idea what my local meta is, so I expect sideboarding to be a little weird at first.

This is a re-build of something I built a wile ago, I switched them out because this one is much better.
