turn 4 wins are not really that exciting a good goblin or splinter twin deck can pull off a easy turn 3 win

I like your deck and it's sideboard. Added a few of them to my deck RDW (with grenades), it's an original title if I must say but not as good as this decks title.

Alright guys, I'll be playing at a tournament this Saturday and I really wanna finetune this deck. Any last suggestions on how to make it better?

Hi jund!My english isn't very good, but i think so you can understand me ;)
I was playing this deck in GPT Modern. My suggestions:- Ball Lightning is bad card. You usually lost three mana for deal three, four damage(sometimes 0).
Ash Zealot isn't good with Hellspark Elemental . I prefer choose one of that to maindeck, and second to sideboard(Ash Zealot vs Snapcaster Mage )
Spark Elemental is bad in my opinion. Better is Keldon Marauders (by the way, i love this card).
Skullcrack is perfect card. You can say "Bye!" to Spellskite and Kitchen Finks .
Why you doesn't play Rift Bolt ? Perfect card.
Searing Blaze is good too, but i don't know metagame in your city.
Molten Rain - you must play with this in your sideboard.
I think, so i help you ; ) Bye.

If your having problems running out of steam Reforge the Soul could help fix that in my experience. Since you are running Magma Jet it would not be to hard to rig a miracle or avoid it if necessary.
I was having like That with my RDW, when most of your cards are 1 cmc you do run out of steam quickly. That being said drawing 7 more cards usually should give you more than enough damage than is necessary to defeat your opponent regardless of what they may have drawn.

SuperXkoodA Yeah, that does tend to happen but since I already submitted my decklist to a tournament I'm playing on Saturday ,I can't change anything. Maybe after the tournament, I'll put in some Reforge the Soul . Thanks!!

I would probably put those three Blood Moon s in the sideboard, because as of now they take away from your other burn cards. If you really do want them in game one, you probably shouldn't have more than one or two. As for your actual burns cards, I would recommend not running four Pillar of Flame s. While it is nice removal in standard, in Modern it is very mediocre burn at sorcery speed. If you do want removal, I'm a big fan of Searing Blaze , because it often doubles as a two for one. Running more than two can cause issues if you draw several, but I personally run four anyway because it just works so well well. Although Magma Jet is not necessarily a bad choice for this deck, it can be underwhelming at times. I would recommend not running more than two. I guess I am also confused why you say that Vexing Devil is the "big daddy" of the deck, yet you only run three?
As for cards that you might want to put in, running two copies of Thunderous Wrath is fun if you are alright with the possibility of it coming up in your opening hand, and running two copies of Shard Volley can be nice for an end game finisher.
Overall, I really like this deck. It is providing much inspiration for me as I try to develop my own modern mono red deck (still in progress). I especially liked the sideboard, because I actually hadn't thought of Vexing Shusher or Smash to Smithereens before, but I could see how those cards could be absolutely invaluable in certain matches.
I was about to post this comment, and then I realized in all caps that you said that this was the final build, so I don't actually know if you were looking for advice or criticism or not :P I've already written all of this stuff, so I suppose I will go ahead and post it, although I very much hope that I'm not being an annoyance.

So there's a technique known as 'mana weaving.' It's not exactly stacking your deck or cheating, on the contrary. What you do is separate your deck into land and non land cards, then shuffle the two piles. Place two non land cards face down, and place a land on top. Repeat the process til out of cards and shuffle remaining cards in. Do so before every match if possible.
Can you describe how the match went w Melira Pod? What went well, what went wrong, etc?
June 21, 2013 5:44 a.m.
aeonstoremyliver Hm, I never thought of doing that. Thanks for the suggestions.
About the Pod matchup, first round was mine. Turn 4 win with a turn 3 Blood Moon shutting him down. Game 2, I just kept drawing lands and he pulled off the infinite Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Kitchen Finks combo. He kept sacrificing the Kitchen Finks to activate that one vampire creature that lets you sac a creature to scry 1. Game 3, kept drawing lands once again and he pulls off another inifinite with the vampire scry 1 guy, Melira, and Murderous Redcap .

Mana weaving is a bit of a bad habit in my opinion. Taken by itself as a method of shuffling it is actually cheating by the rules (stacking/insufficient randomization refers not just to the order of exact cards but also to distribution, and you know the distribution in this case.) and seems kind of frowned upon in general. It is not technically against the rules to do it before shuffling. You can do whatever you want to your deck between games, mana weave, arrange it alphabetically, whatever makes you feel better. But the deck needs to be sufficiently randomized after this, and if you are truly properly shuffling after it you are undoing the weave entirely anyways.
That said, I like your deck setup here. I hadn't thought about Magma Jet , probably adding that to my own burn deck when I can afford some upgrades.

Ahem, let's begin.
2-1 against junk tokens. Voice was a hassle, bu I was able to out burn him
2-0 against urzatron. Blasted him out before he was able to pull of the lands both times
2-0 against burn, she got flooded hard, not her fault
Swiss
2-0 against a Fight Bears variant, spent his turn two on Domei both times giving me the smash through.
2-1 against Melira Pod. Got mana flooded, but still, I won
2-0 against affinity, loving Smash to Smithereens .

4hyperion Yeah, that's why I have Everlasting Torment in the sideboard. You just gotta hope you draw it before they gain a shitload of life. Haha

Blood Moon combos well with Peak Eruption . Things to consider. You might also want to include a copy or two of Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle .

Given the prevalence of Snapcaster Mage , Think Twice , Unburial Rites , Gravecrawler , etc. Ash Zealot may very well be relevant, pending the meta.
Shard Volley is pretty sweet. It is to Modern what Fireblast is to Legacy.
