With the banning of DRS (Deathrite Shaman) Jund or Ajani Jund actually gets better. I don't refer to it as the GB/X shell because BUG decks simply aren't very good and its really Jund, Junk, or Ajundi. Golgari decks exist but aren't as prevalent because you lose so much from the other colors. Anyways, Birds of Paradise functions perfect as our one mana dork. We gain Bitterblossom AND Wild Nacatl both exceptionally good. Unfortunately our mana base is painful.
