Going back to an old-school Black playstyle with a Discard deck. The fun starts on turn 1 with Harsh Scrutiny to see their opening hand, hopefully get rid of a creature, and set up turn 2. Control kicks in to high gear on turn 2 with a variety of options, including Collective Brutality, Transgress the Mind, and Grasp of Darkness. Live Fast helps refill the hand with more discard goodness, as well as adding energy to Aether Hub for Kozilek's Return . Tuns 3, 4, and 5 are when we start putting down creatures, ending with Reality Smasher. Desolation Twin is my ghetto-Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger for the late-game sweeper with Kozilek's Return .

This deck started as the Mono-Black Discard Deck for Kaladesh featured on the SBMtG channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYGo1kpVVRs). Dev did a great job with it, so please check it out.

Based on feedback, I removed the Kozilek's Return , replacing it with Yahenni's Expertise which is more expensive and slower, but is easier on mana production. I also increased the number of sources to make getting double Black on T2 easier.
