Just a nasty little something I'm working on. I want more cipher activations and don't really require the elctromancer so I'm thinking of replacing him with trait doctoring. Runs pretty smooth on 2 land in practice, and while extra land isn't terrible, hidden strings has me wondering if 18-19 lands might not get me more consistently where I want to be. Purphoros and Bident are there to get me out of trouble mostly, and can do gross things if they hit close to on time so, for now, I want to keep running it at 20 lands.

For a while I've been running it with the battlewise hoplite instead of nivmagus elemental. I'm not sure, both have their upsides, both have their drawbacks. I love the ability to dig like a maniac with the hoplite, but nivmagus is so sweet on turn 1 and with one activation becomes really hard to get off the board. Obviously nivmagus is much easier on my manabase to cast. This particular setup is designed to utilize the hoplite, I would fill out the cipher activations with the 4th hands of binding and trait doctoring for nivmagus. I'm also trying out titan's strength but it may be that I should just run nivmagus in that slot, and get the best of both worlds. Or I may try running lightning strike there for a bit more action on the burn side of the deck.
