SIMPLETONS. I am here today to tell you of the GLORY of ALESHA. ALESHA THE FUCKING BADASS. ALESHA WHO SMILES AT FUCKING DEATH. SHE GIVES IT A COY LOOK ACROSS THE ROOM. THEN SHE INTRODUCES DEATH TO ALL YOUR MEASLY FOES!!!

ahem So this is my first Alesha deck. Alesha is an extremely versatile commander. She lets you get power 2 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. This gives you options. You can go for:

1. Tribal of lower power creatures (rats, goblins, zombies)
2. BIG CREATURES. I know, I know. She's about lower power, but there are a lot of creatures who when they are IN THE GRAVEYARD have power 0 or something. But when they enter in they get BIG. For instance Savage Firecat or Spitting Hydra .
3. DEATHSTRIKE. Give those weaklings FIRST STRIKE and DEATHTOUCH (or even DOUBLESTRIIIIIKE) for the deadliest power 2 or less creatures to roam this Earth.
4. Triggers! Creatures entering and leaving the battlefield can proc Blood Artist, Grave Pact, and Rockslide Elemental . Have those creatures be people like Reliquary Monk and Sanity Gnawers and you'll be set.

AND THEN THROW IN ANYTHING FUCKING ELSE CAUSE ALESHA IS SOOOOO GOOD!!!

• WHATEVER YOU WANT, ALESHA WILL SATISFY YOUR NEEDS!!!!

So for this deck, I went for a lot of control and triggers along with a couple strong creatures to chunk the enemies health.

Control via cards like Big Game Hunter, Duplicant, and Duergar Hedge-Mage. Then hit them hard with things like Master of Cruelties or Raving Dead . Get some card draw with Lim-Dul's Paladin and Mindless Automaton. Plus Archetype of Finality combined with Archetype of Courage or Valor will make you a huge threat. Mana ramp with Solemn Simulacrum, Kor Cartographer , and Burnished Hart. Basically, with Alesha, you can do everything. Then you've got Entomb, Buried Alive, and Diabolic Tutor to get you the ones you need for that situation.

Pro Strat Tips:

Do you have an amaaaazing card like Duplicant in your starting hand? Exciting, right? I mean, with Duplicant you can just roll face! But wait... It's 6 whole mana? Well, if you've got a bounce/karoo like Rakdos Carnarium , you might just have 8 cards in your hand which means... Oh BUMMER, you have to DISCARD! Well, guess I'll just place this Duplicant into my graveyard for later. ;) ty alesha

Alesha may smile at death, but that doesn't mean she wants to go all the way with it. You gotta keep your sugar safe! So get yourself some Reconnaissance and she'll charge bravely to death, then run away screaming. Plus it'll save your super wimpy cards you get back like Blood Artist from dying if you bring them back swinging.

But sometimes your deck isn't that kind to you. So you gotta get your gal Alesha some stylish new clothes! So lay down your Steelshaper's Gift to pull out a fabulous Whispersilk Cloak. Now you can let Alesha swing all she wants and no one will be able to block her or Doomblade her (watch out for those board wipes though).
