Alesha may look unassuming, but the things she brings to the table will kill our opponents quickly. For a Mardu deck, this commander deck is very synergistic, having 3 infinite combos to search for. Looting and tutors can get you your combo faster, and there are several ways to lock out your opponents until you draw your win con.

Here are some of the combos to look for:

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death + Wall of Blood - instant death if your opponent has less life than you (keep in mind this is risky in multiplayer)

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death + Master of Cruelties -likewise an instant kill if it connects, but if not it's a reusable edict

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death + Hokori, Dust Drinker + Sac Outlet - you can have a one sided winter orb (combine with Avalanche Riders to completely mana-screw your opponent

Reanimation + Peacekeeper - slow down an assault until you can combo off in some way

Disciple of Bolas + Wall of Blood - draw as many cards as you have life with no life loss (be wary of removal spells or burn though)

Most of the other creatures in this deck provide utility or value, so everything has synergy.

And last but not least, here are the ways to kill your opponent, but it's hard to get mad at these combo. This is no Kiki-Jiki, the Mirror Breaker or Splinter Twin deck. You get enough of those in Modern, so give these combos some time in the spotlight. Here they are:

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion - Ping your opponent to death

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Murderous Redcap + Sac Outlet - Ping your opponent to death part two

Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond - Drain and gain for the win!
