Looks pretty good.. Thought about Eidolon of Blossoms for card draws and Rattleclaw Mystic instead of Elvish Mystic?
January 22, 2015 5:10 p.m.
Agent_Of_Bolas Gonna test out the Rattleclaw Mystic. Dropped one Hornet Queen and one Goblin Rabblemaster for 2 Eidolon of Blossoms to test out.

Hey dude, sorry.. I forgot about your Crux of Fate. I'll be back in next Friday.
January 23, 2015 11:50 p.m.
Agent_Of_Bolas it's cool. You're one of the few I can trust down there. How'd it do for you?

I never got to play it.. It was a one of, and always got Thoughtsiezed or self milled.. So, I probably won't run it in Reanimator.. I figured I'd give it a shot though.. But, yeah, I'll be back in Friday for FNM.
January 24, 2015 12:20 a.m.
This should be good to go by then. Intense playtesting is coming.
January 24, 2015 1 a.m.
Agent_Of_Bolas I've been playtesting and trying out my hands and draws and I just can't stop drawing Hornet Queen and things that are supposed to enter my graveyard. You know of a way to get around that? Or a good way to discard? I thought about Tormenting Voice

Vaultbreaker, Dash for 3 Draw and Discard, Tormenting Voice, Grave Strength, Nyx Weaver, even Dark Deal might work. I'm actually dreading a match against this deck.. It seems pretty damn good.
January 24, 2015 8:24 p.m.
Whipping alesha and having enough mana to do her whip multiple times is just broken. I just played David this verse mono green devotion to join for like more than an hour stale mate
January 25, 2015 12:08 a.m.
Grave strength could potentially make this a lot quicker too.

UpperDeckerTaco, what do you think of this build? Would love your opinion. Gonna try and get this deck out there a little more and get more opinions.

I feel Crux of Fate is not worth having. If you are going to do a reanimator deck with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death/Whip of Erebos, I would go up to 4 of each. Also, Commune with the Gods and Satyr Wayfinder is great for this as well. Then all the cards you utilize should work well with reanimating. I like Hornet Queen, Eidolon of Blossoms, Goblin Rabblemaster, Courser of Kruphix, and all your mana dorks for the synergy with Alesha. I can see Doomwake Giant being a viable option here so I do like him in there. I really like Tasigur, the Golden Fang. I don't like Atarka, World Render in here at all, it has no synergy. I think possibly Nyx Weaver would/could be a good addition. I think you will surprise people with this deck. +1 for creativity.
January 26, 2015 1:45 p.m.
I was playing around with the Atarka, World Render because whipping back a 6/4 for 4 and swinging 10 just sounded really freaking also. I will test out Nyx Weaver in it's place. And I can add in another whip, yet another Alesha, I can not yet. I thought about using Commune but kept with Satyr because I can bring him back to mill myself more. and I LOVE Tasigur. He's brilliantly good. People didn't realize that and he now shot up to $12.

Man, you're build is way better than mine, but thanks for even looking at mine as you seem like a top tier player. Keep up the good work.

I would suggest some rakshasha deathdealers, as they are a pain to answer, and even more so if they can be brought back for 2 mana

Not much of a Reanimator builder, but I will give it a shot :)
I think Bloodsoaked Champion fits nicely here as well as Ashcloud Phoenix would be a solid add, maybe even Flamewake Phoenix if the big creature count is increased a bit to hit his trigger. Crux of Fate could also do work here, as well as Perilous Vault
I dont think 4x Whip of Erebos is really needed, could more then likely get away with running 2-3
Finally, I think Empty the Pits could do serious work here.

I fail to see how its the same deck..... This build is a Golgari splash Red reanimator build. The deck you linked is More a Black Devotion Nighthowler build.
Both decks share similar concepts, but they are not the same thing.

if your jund a one of Atarka, World Render. Whipping him back can be a whopping 24 life swing. - 12 to your opponent and gain 12 life thanks to lifelink.

I don't think this is the right deck for nykthos. The deck itself looks fine, but there's rarely a point where you'll have enough devotion to make anything of it and even when you do you don't really have mana sinks to use it in. In a three color deck like this that doesn't have the benefit of tri lands I think nykthos is just asking to get put off of the colors you need a lot of the time.

I really like this idea, there was a similar build in CFB's Woo Brews a week or two ago. I think the deck might suffer form consistency and could be streamlined a bit:
1) Mana Base: First: I really dislike Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in this build; you don't have much devotion and it doesn't fix your mana. You really want to hit GG, R and then BB within the first 4 turns... and by my count your mana base will have a VERY hard time doing this, you have: 13 Green sources, 12 Black (15 with the Sylvan Caryatids) and 8 Red (14 if you count Rattleclaw Mystic). You probably want closer to 17 sources for your main colors. This might mean you need to run Mana Confluence or at the very least more scrye and pain lands. Reid Duke had a good article on mana bases in his Level One series a few weeks ago that you should read.
2) Maximize your threats: I think you need to decide on what the linchpins of your deck are and maximize on these. This probably includes: 4x Alesha, Who Smiles at Death; 4x Goblin Rabblemaster (it's fun to win by being clever, but it is also fun to just straight out win). Even easy things like Sylvan Caryatid > Rattleclaw Mystic so run 4x caryatid and mystics for ramp 5-8. For cards that look weak, I think Eidolon of Blossoms is up there (your deck is built for virtual card advantage and I think the constellation sub-theme isn't very attractive in it).
3) How do you plan to fill your yard? Is 3x Satyr Wayfinder enough? Are you hoping to bash with your creatures, with recursion as plan B (in which case Hornet Queen won't work)? Should you run Commune with the Gods too?
All said, I think it looks like a really great idea, and could be a lot of fun. I think your deck needs some focus though as it is going in a lot of different (and non-complementary) directions.

Here is Travis Woo's Version, about half way down. It could give you some interesting ideas (like Thoughtseize, Nyx Weaver and Commune with the Gods).
