Alesha, who Smiles at Death with goblin synergies. The main plan is to play a solid aggro game with some board control. Goblins excel at going wide, and Mardu lets us combine that with cards like Citywide Bust for clearing out big threats, Cathars' Crusade to pump the squad and Dictate of Erebos to use our constantly sacrificing stream of goblins to kill everyone else's stuff. Alesha helps things along by recurring our best ETB critters, with prime targets being Imperial Recruiter, Goblin Matron, Siege-Gang Commander, and Munitions Expert.

If goblin beatdown doesn't do the trick, there's a few infinite combo lines to close the game. Cathars' Crusade + Murderous Redcap nets infinite +1/+1 counters on all of our creatures. It's lethal right away with a sac outlet like Sling-Gang Lieutenant or a death payoff like Zulaport Cutthroat. Luminous Broodmoth also goes infinite with redcap. Karmic Guide + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker gives infinite death triggers alongside a sac outlet.
