It's a fun Bant Exalted deck. In the ideal game, I win turn 4.
The Mana Fixing
Noble Hierarch is worth loads for a reason: it's awesome.
Birds of Paradise for mana fixing, mostly. Although it doesn't hurt to get Rafiq out a turn early.
The Cheap Exalted
Akrasan Squire is there for turn 1 if I don't get a dork.
Aven Squire is exalted and evasion rolled into one. Yes please.
Qasali Pridemage is cheap exalted which doubles as a Naturalize should I need it.
The Bombs
Rafiq of the Many needs no explanation.
Sublime Archangel (see Rafiq of the Many)
The Help
Elspeth, Knight-Errant gives evasion and pumps my creatures. She's hilarious with Rafiq out. In an emergency, she can also make a chump blocker.
I Despise Blockers
Rancor for pumping and trample.
Distortion Strike just to ensure that my lethal swing isn't halted by a pesky blocker.
Other
Simic Charm is unbelievably versatile and fits nicely in here. It's instant removal, should I need it. It grants protection from kill spells if my opponent decides that he doesn't like my creatures. It's also a nifty combat trick that nets you an extra 6 damage if you have a Rafiq of the Many in play.
