Planeswalker (1)

Instant (4)

This deck uses as much loopholes as it can to take advantage of the opponents weaknesses. The deck itself is a little taste of everything, a couple of burn spells to take care of creatures or direct damage, a few control spells to keep your opponent in check. A few draw spells to keep things going. Hammer of Purphoros makes a nice little addition to the deck by being a land converter at the same time gives a Spellheart haste (Everybody fears a 17/3 creature with flying and haste)

The creatures are emphasized in such a way that they get their damage through. The Spellhearts make you feel a little better about being milled. The Guttersnipes make sure that every spell you cast gives an itching sensation to your opponents. Then finally your king and queen are AEtherling and the Prognostic Sphinx . Once the Sphinx is out, your deck gets maximum optimization due to it's massive filtering, and once Aetherling gets out and your mana gets replenished, you basically win the game.

Ral Zarek and Jace, Memory Adept make for a great combination. Ral gives you burn and tapping power, while Jace gives you draw and mill power.

The sideboard is pretty straightforward. Skullcracks are only if you're really annoyed by those lifelinked creatures or damage preventers. Anger of the Gods and Flames of the Firebrand are for Aggro decks that seem to populate every chance they can. Essence is to prevent strong creatures from appearing. If your opponent is running an enchantment deck, an extra Cyclonic Rift would be useful. Then if your opponent is running a perfect wall, having a full set of Guttersnipes would burn right through defense.
