POST EDIT: This is an ultimate late game deck. Ive playtested it numerous times and Ive lost track of how many times i get beat down to 1-4 life and then
Yawgmoth's Agenda
hits and, simply put, I end up winning.
It is such a blast.
Okay first of all, allow me to express my utter love for everything Yawgmoth. Black is my absolute favorite color to play in Magic and when I discovered the glory that is Yawgmoth, I died a little inside... but thanks to the wonderful one true Ruler of the World, I was resurrected with a new purpose. Utilize Yawgmoth's Everything!
Yawgwin (Yawgmoth's Will) FTW.
Anyways, ranting aside, in my research for Yawgmoth Everything, i came across the underrated and, seemingly, never mentioned
Yawgmoth's Agenda
.
More to come as I dig deeper into the card's potential, but for now, the deck list is taken from a wonderful starcitygames article written by Alexander Scott and can be found here:
http://www.starcitygames.com/article/1241_Yawgmoth-s-Agenda-In-IBC-Or-T2.html
On the whole, you want to disrupt your opponent as much as possible, keeping his board clean and his hand destroyed thanks to
AEther Burst
, Recoil,
Rushing River
and
Bog Down
. I know there are strictly better bouncing and discard cards than river and bog down, but the point is to take advantage of the kicker costs because once
Yawgmoth's Agenda
hits the floor you can replay all those sacced lands.
The most ideal time to drop
Yawgmoth's Agenda
is at your opponents weakest, i.e no nonland permanents on the field, no cards in hand. Undermine will take care of the later should the Agenda be forced out early.
Also, Undermine is probably the biggest part of the deck, hitting for around 15 each game (ideally, and realistically)
