Hey Doombeard1984, is there a card that is the opposite of Conspiracy ? that would be a helpful synergy for your commander. I know I've seen it, but I don't know what it's called.

Thanks for the upvote and comments KITTYMANHunkGTI. Much appreciated.
And yes, Amoeboid Changeling can help me steal my opponents creatures and even commanders. Not so great when Crystalline Sliver totally NONbo's it for me hahaha. You can also use Unnatural Selection as an enchantment version of this, or Artificial Evolution . I like The Blue Blob though.
Do you have a Sliver Hive of your own, or considering building one?

I mean, I love seeing sliver decks, but to make one of my own with help from one of the best would be awesome!

KITTYMANHunkGTI, thanks for the follow. I am by no means one of the best lol. However, if I can help you make a deck, I am more than happy to do so. If I can help someone build and enjoy playing MTG, especially using my beloved Slivers, well that's a win in my book. I really would have a look at The Queens Egg deck as well (mentioned and linked in my deck desdeiption). This deck by Mortlocke is literally a thingof beauty. I was lucky enough to have some help from him on creating my own Hive.

Aggravated Assault will provide you another way to generate infinite mana, so long as you have at least 6 slivers fielded, one of which is a mana sliver. Just as importantly, it also provides infinite untaps and combat phases--that means you can untap Amoeboid Changeling as many times as is necessary to take all your opponents' creatures, then use the infinite combat to win the game, attacking opponents who no longer have any defenses.

Hi Caerwyn,
Thanks for looking in on my deck and the suggestion. The problem I have is deciding on cuts. Everything I have in the deck is there for a reason and so I ask, what would you cut for it?
Thanks again

Phyrexian Arena - I think this card is generally a tad overrated given how slow it moves.
Smothering Tithe - Great card; not really needed in your deck. You already have access to better sources of ramp and can always find mana slivers to turn your entire army into mana dorks. I think you can find better ways to use your time, other than spending four mana for more ramp.

Sir Doombeard1984. I'm a new/casual player. But I am tired of losing every week. I always feel sorry for myself. I want to build my own deck. I got someone who is selling me a sliver deck, but I don't think it's worth it. Here's the Link . At the moment I am investing in shock lands, fetch lands. Then maybe I'd copy your build. That's my plan

Firstly Tobuts, I am honoured that you rate my deck so highly as to base your build around it. Thank you.
So I think the first question is how much are they looking at charging you for this basic sliver deck? There is some OK stuff in there, but if you are looking at a highly interactive deck with some control elements, then some pretty big changes needed.
Also worth noting, Patriarch's Bidding just got a reprint in MH2... its like $2. I look forward to seeing your deck evolve, and happy to lend a hand when needed.

Seller's asking for $250(USD converted) for it. My dilemma is should I buy it or start from scratch to save some $ and just buy the cards that I would need.
I understand that running a 5 color deck would need a lot of fetch, shock & pain lands to work and that's where I started to invest my money. Though I only have a complete set of shock lands at the moment, 3 fetches $1 prismatic vista. Cavern of souls is on the way. I'm also considering using Pain Lands or bonds from battle bonds & Commander legends set (which I got 5). Once I got my land base sorted, I will then buy the core slivers + the 5 legendary. On these, I can maybe spend a reasonable $$$.
When it comes to sorcery, instants, artifacts I'd press the brakes on the expensive ones like Yawgmoth's Will, Mana Drain, Teferi's Protection, Enlightened Tutor, Demonic Tutor Is there any budget-friendly substitute you recommend for these?

Doombeard1984. I appreciate you guiding me through this journey. Didn't know there's a huge fanbase for slivers.

So, I personally would build from scratch. The amount you would cut from that deck being offered is substantial. Now, with some of the expensive stuff I have, you can consider some alternatives for sure. Gaea's Will is similar to Yawgmoth's Will but much more budget friendly, and the aforementioned Patriarch's Bidding is now cheap as chips. For tutoring, Diabolic Tutor, Beseech the Queen, Mastermind's Acquisition and Gamble are but some of the cheaper tutor cards you can use. Liliana Vess is also an option. There are many options, just be aware of either higher cost, or potential downside. Of course, our commander Sliver Overlord is a tutor himself, which is very useful. With interaction, well I went heavy on counter magic, but there are a plethora or removal type spells. Joy of being in 5 colours. Utter End, Beast Within, Vindicate, even you basic Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile offer you some interaction. I also like Akroma's Will as an alternative to Teferi's Protection. Can also double up as a win con. With the lands, whilst I do have a couple of OG duals and all the shocks, the bond lands (if your pod is 3 or 4) are all good. With fetches, you just need to make sure you have the land types on the card. Shocks are defo good. There was a couple lands in BFZ I think Canopy Vista that are fetchable, and in a pinch, triomes work. Otherwise, basics are ok too, but not ideal.

Sorry to change your perfect count of exactly 69 upvotes (giggity), but this is extremely well put together. +1

Thanks for the comment and upvote Balaam__. Have put a lot of time into this deck, and am currently sourcing ABU dual lands to put in as well. Do you have a Hive of your own?

Not in EDH format, no, but I’m always building in the background and have some partially complete shells for Legacy I could tune for Slivers.

How have Steely Resolve and Voidslime been working for you? For the former, do you need the redundancy within the deck? For the latter, is it not difficult to cast given the color restriction?
Have you considered swapping out one of them for Deflecting Swat or even Imp's Mischief? They "counter" counterspells, and can redirect targeted removal, draw, extra turns and more!

Hi Profet93,
Firstly, happy new years!
The decknitself runs a pretty heavy control package which I do like to have flexibility. I tend to be targeted on the regular, and when the deck is starting to really build. Can also cause a lot of board wipe triggers as well. With the manage restrictions, I am usually OK to be honest, as the manabase is solid, with usually the mana slivers as an early tutor for Sliver Overlord.
That being said, Deflecting Swat is a great card situationaly (as well as Imps Mischief). They just don't offer the flexibility I tend to need to interact with my opponents trying to scupper my devious plans lol.
On a more general note, I tend to have to pkay very cagey to try and not just be targeted out of existence . The order of play, tutoring, interacting etc are super key early game to enable to (usually) combo out the win in some way.
Hope that a useful response at least, and again I wish you a very happy new year
