Other ways to accomplish through use of Nightcreep and Silumgar, the Drifting Death . There's a bunch of removal and control to help you hang on until you are able to eliminate all other lands.

Use Diabolic Tutor to get the cards you need in order to pull it off. Then sit there and ping your opponents for 3 each turn while they scramble to try and rebuild their mana base.

Once you have established total control, you can just ping your opponent with your lands until they are dead.

Also, I just put the deck together for under $20!

There are subs for all the non-modern cards in the sideboard except for Kormus Bell. I don't know what to replace that with that would make the deck modern legal.
