Zulaport Cutthroat is sometimes a better Blood Artist because it hits each opponent (of the four or five cards with this effect it's unique in that regard). Also, Goblin Bombardment. I recently got one for my Prossh deck and it's amazing. Turning every creature into at least one damage is great. Not to mention you can snipe Planewalkers or utility creatures with it too.

And the best part is that they're both under a dollar :)

Some cards that reproduce purphoros are Rage Thrower and Impact Tremors.

A few recommendations:

you are missing a lot of strong core enchantments. I would recommend Attrition, Shared Animosity, Grave Pact, Primal Vigor, Doubling Season, and maybe Cryptolith Rite.

You are also missing a ton of core creatures, such as: Purphoros, God of the Forge, Eternal Witness, Champion of Lambholt, Somberwald Sage, Joraga Treespeaker, etc.

For what to cut, i would drop a lot of your prossh protection and conditional board wipes, likeGaea's Embrace and Chandra's Ignition. I see that you are trying to go for a control route, but instead with these cards you can just make it so you can knock out at least one player the turn after casting prossh. it is also never the end of the world if prossh gets killed, because you can just recast him for more tokens.

Some other misc. cards i recommend: Xenagos, the Reveler, Garruk Wildspeaker, Craterhoof Behemoth, Ashnod's Altar, Pathbreaker Ibex, Birthing Pod, and Furystoke Giant.

Looking back on all these cards they are expensive, but I would definitely grab a Craterhoof Behemoth. I win a solid half of my games from that guy.

This is my deck, id love if you could check it out, id love to hear your suggestions. Thanks!

baddabiiing As you said, most of those cards are expensive and I'm trying to go on a budget route. Most of the cards I have that are a little bit more expensive, I bought them when they were really cheap. As of craterhoof, I know it is a ridiculous card, but my meta isn't competitive, we usually play just for fun, so I don't believe that buying a 25$ card that wins the game automatically is fun for anybody. But I'm trying to get my hands on a Xenagos, the Reveler and in a Cryptolith Rite. Thanks for the suggestions though!

I'm not sure fresh meat works as you intend as when tokens are destroyed, they don't go to your graveyard

August 28, 2016 9:32 a.m.

kylar_ says... #7

ershall84 But they actually do, they hit the graveyard and then when the next state-based actions are checked, the token will cease to exist.

110.5f A token thats phased out, or thats in a zone other than the battlefield, ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.)

This is a decent pauper version of a prossh deck but some reasonably priced mainstays, like purphoros, for example, should be in your deck. Impact for the price is significant.

ershall84 I've always wanted a purphoros, but the thing about impact and purphoros is that everybody will be pissed at me for dealing them so much damage so I'm not sure it is political. I'll surely keep them in mind in any case, they are incredibly powerful cards with prossh after all

The thing with Purphoros is that you play him and then you win.. Throw in Vicious Shadows and you should be able to seal the deal.

You can probably justify Hero's Downfall these days over Murder considering it's cheap now.

Quicksilver Yeah, you're correct, right now I'm working on another deck, but once I'm done with that, I'm going to buy some cards for this one, hero's downfall included.

My friend uses Fires of Yavimaya Cryptolith Rite and any sac outlet for an infinite tokens from proshh

November 7, 2016 2:49 p.m.

@davidsays1: That combo isn't infinite. The commander tax will keep increasing and you'll have enough dudes untapped to pay his cost except the he increases each time unless you have a way to untap your dudes, then it would be infinite.

Im not sure how he does it all i know is he gets infinite tokens ill have to ask him all i know is plays proshh they have haste tap for mana sac thrm play proshh etc. It kills almost everyone at the table i get lucky and survive sometimes.

Ok its not any sac outlet its Ashnod's Altar specifically i forgot and thought it worked with any i had to ask

kylar_ says... #18

davidsays1 Also if you have Parallel Lives out, it could be any sac outlet. But my meta frowns upon infinite combos, as we believe they are not fun for anybody. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Have you thought of Warstorm Surge?

If you add butcher of malakir you could have a better chance of getting off dictate of erebos easier
