What happens when the humans of Innistrad and allies of Zendikar team up together? They become the ragtag team known as the Allies of Humanity! A competitive, yet budget modern deck, Allies of Humanity is a purely mono white humans (with a sub-theme of allies to boot!) deck bursting with flavor, fun and effectiveness.

Deck breakdown: Show

1 CMC

Champion of the Parish The ideal one drop starter. Drop him and watch him grow massively or immediately get removed by your opponents.

Hada Freeblade The second one drop. Starting off at 1/2, he may seem small at first but will slowly be able to grow with all the buffs and allies around.

Expedition Envoy The third one drop. A 2/1 ally, she is vital for early game damage or late game buff to his fellow allies.

Mikaeus, the Lunarch Technically we can't actually drop him for 1. But Mike here is good early and late game, helping to constantly boost other humans with +1/+1 counters. Thalia's Lieutenant also combos with Mike, giving him an extra counter to share with everyone else.

Path to Exile It's removal. At instant speed. It's good.

Brave the Elements Protecting the humans from potential destruction, we can keep on building our team of humans without the constant fear of board wipe.

2 CMC

Kazandu Blademaster A solid 2/2 with vigilance, first strike and the chance to grow quite large in the late game.

Thalia's Lieutenant Boosting all the other humans with +1/+1 counters and having the same ability as Champion of the Parish , she really is a game changer.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben She slows down control decks. Control hate!

Hanweir Militia Captain   A 2/2 body at first but once it transforms, she becomes a big powerhouse, producing cleric tokens to not only boost itself but cards like Champion of the Parish and Thalia's Lieutenant .

Honor of the Pure Granting +1/+1 to all the creatures, this is a game changer, making those small humans suddenly seem very scary.

3 CMC

Lantern Scout 3/2 ally, this gal buffs up our other allies in the late game, and grants lifelink to all the other humans, regardless of ally, which helps bring the life total up to more favourable levels.

Lands

Plains They're big open fields of wheat and white mana. Crucial to feed humans and cast them.

Deck Match-ups: Show

Against Living End:

3 Honor of the Pure , 4 Path to Exile out.

3 Eerie Interlude , 4 Mana Tithe in.

Trick to winning: You have to outrace this deck. Best to start first and have a card to counter any cascade cards they play to buy you a 4th turn to swing for the kill. 15% difficulty

Against Merfolks:

4 Path to Exile , 3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben out.

4 Mana Tithe , 3 Knight of the White Orchid in.

Trick to winning: Being blue, I thought Merfolk decks would run more draw and counterspells. Fortunately, they focus on just playing merfolks and rely heavily on their lords. You can take advantage of this massively by countering their merfolks (oh, the irony) with Mana Tithe and kinda have a fun game. 5% difficulty.

Against Elves:

3 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben , 2 Lantern Scout out.

3 Knight of the White Orchid , 2 Abzan Falconer in.

Trick to winning: Elves are insanely tricky. They drop too many small elves that chump block your humans or gang up on one. Best bet is to simply try to build a bigger army faster than them and use Brave the Elements or Abzan Falconer to push through. 35% difficulty.

Against Burn:

2 Mikaeus, the Lunarch , 2 Brave the Elements , 3 Honor of the Pure out.

4 Mana Tithe , 3 Knight of the White Orchid in.

Trick to winning: Burn gameplay is extremely varied. Sometimes you are trying to race each other out. Other times you're dragging along and have the constant fear there will be a topdeck bolt or something. Path to Exile takes out their very few creatures and many of times leave them with no free basic land as they cracked too many fetchlands haha. Mana Tithe is also extremely, extremely useful. Lantern Scout also gets you the much needed lifegain, raking in about 8+ life mid-game once dropped. Oh and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben will immediately get bolted once she hits the field. She make burn players cower in absolute fear. 25% difficulty.

Against Jund:

3 Honor of the Pure , 2 Mikaeus, the Lunarch , 1 Lantern Scout out.

3 Return to the Ranks , 3 Knight of the White Orchid in
