(Almost) Mono Green Werewolves

The deck is a slightly modified version of TMS Wedge's Mono Green Werewolves Deck.

I know there are a few 'questionable' choices in my list - mainly the 4 tapped red sources and 1 red spell. Just hear me out:

In Wedge's list, he has Decimator of the Provinces in the Ulrich slot but I could never seem to reach enough mana to cast or emerge it. I wanted to keep with the werewolf theme but the only high-end wolves worth playing were red and Ulrich is just so cool. The one-of Decimator in the original list was not necessarily part of the deck's main gameplan, only really a 'win-more' or 'finisher' card so I decided there was no real reason to splash a perfect amount of Mountains in my list to support Ulrich. The Foundry of the Consuls rotate out of the original list and so I thought I could trade them out for the few red sources I needed. I wanted to get more "bang for my buck" so I chose to use Looming Spires. The "ETB Tapped" clause doesn't really set me back because the deck can do fine with just 3 or so available mana per turn. Mostly, the Spires give me a way to attack with my Lambholt Pacifist   while I wait for her to flip. Looming Spires is sort of like playing a Kindled Fury or Borrowed Hostility without actually casting a spell so you're able pass the turn and flip your humans.

I've had a successful run playing on XMage. The Flash creatures are fantastic - you can hold up mana on the opponent's turn and they don't get suspicious because they think you're just passing the turn to try and flip your werewolves. I think the Silverfur Partisan and Shrill Howler are the weakest cards, simply because there's very few times that I'd rather play a creature on Turn 3 than pass for a Flip and hold up a Flash creature. The sideboard has a few ways to stop fliers (obviously a weakness of werewolves). Vines of the Recluse adds that Reach ability but its also creates surprise blockers for when the opponent thinks you've gone 'shields down' for the turn. Added LOTS of artifact hate for the new Kaladesh cards, extra card:Shrill Howlers for getting through board stalls, and an extra Silverfur Partisan for if the opponent uses a bunch of targeted removal spells.
