Sideboard

Maybeboard

Hearken back to RTR/Theros with some good old-fashioned Izzet deviancy.

The overall theme is to build up some damage ramp by playing the Electrostatic Fields and Guttersnipes, using the Siren Stormtamers to keep them alive so, around turns 4-5, you can start casting spells for obscene amounts of damage.

The Goblin Electromancers are here to keep the game rolling, cheapening the spells and basically boosting the overall efficacy of the deck. I was testing several different cards, and left Divination in there, for lack of a better blue draw replacement. I am open to suggestions on what to put in instead, so please don't hesitate to leave your thoughts!

The sideboard is basically there to turn it into an aggro deck if people are playing counters. Lots of one drop wizards to swap out and run rampant with Adeliz, the Cinder Wind. If they are controlling your few creatures, follow the age-old Izzet philosophy and SEND MORE! (See original Goblin Electromancer flavor text.) Take out the Divinations and Ionizes, and swap out 3 of the Electrostatic Fields for the Adeliz, the Cinder Wind. Crash Through can go in for whatever you feel is needed, to give you that added edge with Adeliz.
