So I've done a little reworking of the deck + sideboard. For now, I've removed Archangel of Thune entirely, and shifted Curse of the Swine and Blind Obedience to the SB, subbing Blind Obedience in for RDW/aggro decks. Not sure what I'd sub Curse of the Swine in for, but it's such a neat card I felt it was a shame to cut it out entirely. I might still remove it for some more countermagic like Counterflux to go with Render Silent.

In their place, I've added another Azorius Charm for some additional early-game card draw and Anger of the Gods for additional board-wipe. Finally, the crowning jewel of my collection, arguably the best card in Standard right now: Azor's Elocutors

Very challenging for my Legions of the Sun God to defeat. I have changed my sideboard after facing your deck! +1

I may have to try this one out at an FNM sometime, looks fun!! I need Purphoros!

Thanks for testing the deck out. I'm...glad, I suppose, that you had troubles against it. :P

By the sounds of it, my deck worked as planned: early disruption of board presence with Chained to the Rocks and Detention Sphere to ease into the full lockdown with Sphere of Safety . Hopefully your addition of Glare of Heresy should sort out the potential prevalence of those two exile enchantments in any future FNM games.

And as an aside, I am also in need of Purphoros, as well as a few other cards that elude me (particularly some additional Heliod, both God and Spear of). Sadface. :(
