This deck is basically trying to build a heroic creature on the first few turns and then using spells to protect it. The deck aims to only have 3 to 4 mana on the battlefield. Using scry triggered from Aqueous Form, Battlewise Hoplite, and Gods Willing, that might trigger multiple times in a given turn due to Hidden Strings, the deck aims to scry away all the lands and hold on to 1 to 2 counter spells. All the counter spells or spells that protect the creature are mostly 1 mana except for Boros Charm and Rootborn Defenses.

Example of a scenario is having Nivmagus Elemental, Battlewise Hoplite and Favored Hoplite on the battlefield. Cast Triton Tactics on Battlewise Hoplite and Favorite Hoplite to trigger their heroics, then before Triton Tactics is resolved, exile it to gain 2 1/1 counters on Nivmagus Elemental. 3 creatures gets counters using only ONE mana.

Hidden Strings is the most important spell in the deck. If it resolves and gets ciphered onto a creature in the early turns, usually the creature is bigger than any opponents creature. They either have to block it and lose their creature or risk of Hidden Strings triggering again making the creature bigger untapped for blocking and untapping more mana for protection.
