American Hexproof

Standard

David_Bradbury

Sideboard

Planeswalker (2)

Enchantment (3)

I've been playing Bant Hexproof since I first heard that there was a SCG tournament in Seattle (Late January/Early February?). The deck hasn't changed a whole lot until Maze's End came out, and Voice of Resurgence popped in all over the place.

In my local meta-game, Standard tournaments have been full of board wipes, and while green has provided nice consistency and speed, I've come to understand that I need resilience that can survive multiple Supreme Verdicts.

Enter American Hexproof.

While finishing a day of 8 hours of work, and my seventh hour at home doing Freelance work, an idea popped in my head:

"Forget Green"

"No, brain, you can't do that. Rancor, Avacyn's Pilgrim, and Unflinching Courage need that!"

"Forget Green"

"Simic and Selesnya Charm! Sigarda!"

"Forget Green"

"Alright fine, what do YOU want?"

"Boros Charm"

"... Oh."

And this is the result. Still need to do more testing, but I'll let you guys know how it goes.
